What made you feel worse, Bush* selected in 2000 or in 2004?

In 2000 I was angry and very upset. The election was blatantly stolen. However when Bush* came out winner in 2004 my heart felt ripped out of my body. I could not believe America, the America I grew up in, could actually elect such a criminal...I went into a state of Depression for almost a full year after that election. I now realize the America I grew up in, the America that does not torture, and the America that believes in following the Constitution, is no longer a reality, so anything is possible. Republicans could actually take back control of America and really finish it off. Scary times are upon us..and yet I have not heard a single Democratic Campaign Ad. Republican Ads, every hour on the hour, and not a peep from the Democrats in my neck of the woods..Is the strategy to just saturate the airwaves a month before the election. That usually gets to me, hearing the same ad hour after hour, day after day in an onslaught. I hope they spread it out and have a variety. There is a hell of a lot to campaign on IMO.

I was happy in 2000 and happy in 04. 08 however I figured we were doomed as a nation. However when Obama is gone I still won't be crying about him winning ten years later.

Damn, what a bunch of whiny children. Grow up and move into the present you DUmbasses. It's 20-****ing-10! Your Messiah is safely ensconced in the White House and you have both houses of Congress for now. Holy hell, it doesn't get any better for you.

But you know what, keep pretending it's November 2000, while we conservatives keep looking to the future and rebuilding this country into a free and glorious state.

And in January 2011, please remember that is' down the road, not across the street.

Why do I have a feeling these same people are still bitterly resentful that they didn't get a particular toy they wanted for Christmas when they were 10?

Their attitude about President Bush winning in 2000 and 2004 reminds me of that kind of person.

It is their juvenile mind trying to cope with what reality is.

Has anybody seen a single person in real life, or even online, claim they went into a depression because Obama one?

These people are so pathetically sad.

Yes, bitter people get lines on their faces in the most unattractive places.  Instead of laughing crow's feet at the temples, they get those two lines between their eyebrows, which makes them look mean and old.  The mouth turns down, giving a jowly appearance.  Not hawt.  Also, bitter people get ulcers, have heartburn, get migraines, tension headaches, backaches, foot pain.  No wonder those compare and contrast pics of conservative women vs. lefty women are so striking.

I admit to crying on election night, but I still got up in the morning to go to work.

I pretty much conceded the election when the MSM chose McCain as the republican nominee.

sigh......all Al Gore had to do was win his HOME state of Tennessee and there would be no talk of Florida.
alas, Tennessee knew what a fraud Al Gore was. The Florida recount results are just in and GW still wins Florida. Sort of reminds me of Mortimer Duke out of "Trading Places" wanting the brokers back and to "Turn the machines back on!"...it ain't gonna happen.

They're constantly, purposely ignoring the fact that the NY Times counted those votes and Bush won by over 500 votes, and yes they also ignore the fact that Gore lost his home state.

It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that the DUmmies are STILL pissed about losing.............twice.

Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
