Edited on Sun Mar-23-08 11:14 PM by IanDB1My only question...Can these gated "Paultopian Communities" be locked from the OUTSIDE?Experimental Paulian Towns and CommunitiesPosted March 21st, 2008 by Kevin TumaThe thought has been on my mind for several weeks that we who follow Ron Paul's message of Constitutional government, laissez-faire economics, and non-intrusive government need to form our own experimental towns and communities.I was once involved in the Free State Project and I felt that movement--while well-intentioned--essentially failed because it wasn't specific or focused enough, and aiming to reform an entire state is a much more massive undertaking than founding a small city and building it from scratch.I read with interest about "Paulville.org" today, and I have posted about forming a self-sufficient Paulian community in north central Texas. I am currently a landowner in an unincorporated area fronting a state highway, building a renaissance faire on 100+ acres of land.I believe not only that building a conservative/libertarian community with Ron Paul fans is feasible there, but a thriving small-town and tourist economy could be developed as well.Other Texans or interested parties, what do you think?More:http://www.dailypaul.com/node/43525
The goal of Paulville.org it to establish gated communities containing 100% Ron Paul supporters and or People that live by the ideals of freedom and liberty. The process is forming a co-op of people buying shares in the community and these people would be granted land use at a minimum of 1 acre per share. for as long as they homesteaded the land. The community would be privately held by the co-op to establish private property for the general community thus preserving the community is 100% freedom and liberty lovers. The community votes on all community efforts, such as utilities etc. However no one is forced to consume these utilities and or pay for them, AKA people can be off grid on there share of land. This is in line with the ideals that your free to live your life the way you want and not be forced to do or pay for other people life styles you may not agree with. http://paulville.org/
