They have already set the stage constantly claiming if you do not worship at the alter of Obama then you are a racist. No discussion no debates you simply are a racist. Then we hear the words from the new black panthers about how they need to kill cracker babies and that when they say something they intend to do it.

So I fear if Obama were to lose in 2012 the new black panthers will stir up their goons and cause a race war. When whitey defends himself the press will gleefully say "See the tea party is violent".

We are in for some tough times and I fear for the future of our country.

To the thread title--I don't think it's a matter of "if."  It's going to happen.

Anyway, even though this DOJ has refused to prosecute, could a future DOJ re-open the case?  And even if they couldn't, could Holder and the DOJ lawyers responsible for not prosecuting the case be prosecuted for depriving the victims in the case of their civil rights (right to vote)?  Sure, it'd be chancy, but it could go a long way to making sure that it never happens again.

After having a private party at the VFW Friday night, I doubt that the blacks will fight the white folks. Except for one person, everybody there was black. (As far as the party guests) There were 120 people (aged 21-40). I didn't care for their music as much of it (not mainstream) had a LOT of racial overtones and much was sexually explicit. However, everybody there treated me (Nordic white), the bartender (white) and one of my Hispanic friends with more courtesy than I've received from white people in years. I was quite impressed with the crowd to be quite honest. Furthermore, not only did they pick up after themselves, but those folks policed the parking lot, too. Were some rules broken?? Sure. But no more than any white person their age would do. I'll invoke the 10% rule. All in all, these folks left the place better than the old white ****ers do after the Saturday Night Dance.

I was thinking that illegal immigration could set off a civil war in America. Blacks and Hispanics rarely get along with each other. They often are each other's throats. Also, I noticed Hispanics of different nationalities do not get along with each other, whether it is Mexican, Nicaraguan, Colombian, Puerto Rican, or Argentinian. I have friends and know people from different Hispanic nations and they tend to prefer their own kind over one from a different Hispanic nation. Same goes with Asians and Middle Easterns.

Don't call that a coup.  That was a legally sanctioned removal from office due to violation of the Honduran constitution.  Describing it as a coup forfeits the figurative high ground due to the connotation of the term.  Conservatives in general seem more than willing to do that lately.

It's not so much about Zelaya's treatment, it's more about holding your ground when it comes to use of the language.  If you cede the terms used in debate to the other side, you cede them the initiative.  Imagine how different the debate over partial-birth abortion would be if it were called something that caused less of a turn of the stomach.
