Wedding from hell: A page boy fits, the groom's mother collapses, a guest learns his father has died and two children suffer head injuries

You wouldn't know it from the wedding photographs, but new bride and groom Vilma and Paul Cassidy were left reeling at their nuptials after a series of bizarre misphaps.

It all started with a pageboy having a fit and turning blue, then Paul's mother collapsing, a guest found out his father had passed away, then their children suffered cut heads.

A stunned Paul said: 'We were relieved the day had finished. We just thought "What more could go wrong?"

'It must have been one of the unluckiest weddings in history. I thought Jeremy Beadle was going to pop out at any minute.'

Paul, who owns a transport business, and Vilma tied the knot at St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray, Leics.

But the day began to go wrong before the ceremony had even taken place, as Vilma, 30, got ready with members of the bridal party at her home.

Her preparations were thrown into disarray when 16-month-old pageboy, Kenzie Gathercole, started fitting.  ...

I bet they've vowed never to repeat the experience.

...But then, aren't they all, in the long run?

Lots of bad, but a guest got a text that their father had passed away?  Horrid!

Talk about a bad day wow

Yeah, that definitely takes the cake.

Yeah, that definitely takes the cake.

My Niece in law found out 2 days before a large wedding that her maid of honor and 2 brides maids had been in a traffic accident.  All out of the wedding.

At the reception a guest went about collecting the centerpiece from about 30 tables.

One of her Uncles that was on disability for feet problems stayed on the dance floor over an hour  and 2 weeks later one of HIS Aunts dropped a dime on him.

The wedding cake was placed in front of a window and began to melt.

All the brides family did not get along with her mother or father and stayed at a distance from them.

Oh yes I must mention the company hired to film the wedding did not buffer out the crys of young children so the wedding vow's were unheard.----Charged $2,000 for that tape.

Actually, the more that can go wrong is more of a memorable occasion then a Wedding where everything that goes according to plan.     The same old, same old is soon forgotten, but the weddings that go all messed up are the ones we remember.
