Obama: 'Outrageously wrong' to reprint Hamas manifesto

Once again, Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama is distancing himself from a statement made by his Chicago church and defending himself by saying he wasn't present when the statement was made.

This time, Obama is reacting to a WND report of the church's decision to reprint a manifesto by a Hamas spokesman that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America's Declaration of Independence.

...In his July 22, 2007, church newsletter, Wright reprinted an article by Mousa Abu Marzook, identified in the publication as a "deputy of the political bureau of Hamas."

...Late Thursday, following WND's story, Obama e-mailed a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency criticizing Hamas and noting that he was not in church the day the bulletin was distributed.

...WND has quoted Israeli security officials who express "concern" about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group.

It was so "Outrageously Wrong" that he still attends that church. Wow, he must have really been offended to stay.

He seems willing to distance himself from everything about this church except its pews and collection plate.

Holy shit, check this out...

In First Easter Sermon, Trinity United Pastor Compares Rev. Wright to Jesus
Quote
The new pastor at Barack Obama’s church used his first Easter sermon on Sunday to compare controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to Jesus’ death at the hands of the Romans.

“No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching. The lynching was national news. The RNN, the Roman News Network, was reporting it and NPR, National Publican Radio had it on the radio. The Jerusalem Post and the Palestine Times all wanted exclusives, they searched out the young ministers, showed up unannounced at their houses, tried to talk with their families, called up their friends, wanted to get a quote on how do you feel about the lynching?”

Moss issued several pleas to congregants to donate to what he called the “Resurrection Fund,” stressing that during this time of battle, money is needed to defend the church. He offered no additional specifics about the fund, telling churchgoers he didn’t want to get into it because Trinity is streaming the service live on the Web and the services are available for purchase on DVD.

The more I hear about this church, the more it looks like the one Fred Phelps is running.

Will B Hussein O be able to avoid his association with these nutsacks?

The more attention paid to them the more abhorrent they will be to more people and hnce greater the weight of the albatross about his neck. He'll have to quit the church now that ignorance is no longer a viable excuse and thus alientate the source of his presumed legitimacy.

Obama's friend Tony Rezko is being sued for embezzlement, on top of the corruption charges he's facing.  The plaintiff claims Rezko defrauded him of his house and land:

BO will probably be the Dem nominee.  I hope, hope, hope the GOP nails his ass to the wall with this stuff.

I remember in the 90's when the Democrats told us "character" was not an issue when it came to the job of the President.  Their nominee was eventually impeached by the House and quite a few of his business and political associates have done jail time.  I'm seeing the same thing with BO... all of a sudden, character doesn't matter, personal acquaintances don't matter, business and political relationships should be ignored.

Ironically, B Hussein O started out as THE candidate that was beyond such triflings. He was supposed to be the post-racial, clean-as-a-whistle, non-political politician.

The difference a little scrutiny can make.

McCain won't because he's learned how powerful being aloof can serve in this particular election. He will portray himself as the man being what Obama was supposed to be.

The blogs and talk radio...and probably the Clintons...will carry this fight for him.

Obama is not qualified. That church is worse than WBC. Fred Phelps's sermon is just pathetic. Jeremiah Wright is outright angry.
