People might be a little more amenable to your economic ideas, not fiscal conservatives of course, but a lot of people, if it all wasn't so bogged down with the social baggage you insist must go with the agenda.
For every story on an economic plan Liberals want to put forth there are half-a-dozen about you suing to stop the enforcement of common sense immigration laws, preventing a school from renting a church in which to hold their graduation ceremonies, wanting to give out condoms in grammar school, affording enemy combatants citizen's rights, holding up construction of a job-creating factory because an endangered dung beetle being spotted on the land, proclaiming state-sanctioned marriage between sexual deviant a "human right", or demanding to know if some politician's developmentally disabled child is actually hers or her daughter's.
Normal people look at things like that and think, "WTF kind of crazy shit is that?" So it's natural for people to decide, you know, there's something fundamentally wrong with you.
Don't paint your face, stick on a rubber nose and don a big red wig and expect people not to think you're really a clown.
