Iranian passenger jets 'refused fuel'

Iran says that Britain, Germany and the United Arab Emirates are refusing to provide fuel to Iranian passenger planes.

The move, which has not been confirmed, follows unilateral sanctions imposed by the US, the Isna news agency reported.

The sanctions are designed to impede the development of Iran's nuclear programme.

"Since last week, our planes have been refused fuel at airports in Britain, Germany and UAE because of the sanctions imposed by America," Mehdi Aliyari, secretary of the Iranian Airlines Union, told the news agency.

And I suppose when one of these jets full of innocents crashes, it will be "worth it", like all the children dying in Iraq. Sanctions = economic terrorism by the rich. Lets see Britain, Germany and the United Arab Emirates give up any and all nuclear-weapons grade material. Better yet, nuclear medicine, nuclear power, nuclear anything using material that can be enriched ....... because we all know with a little technology they too can have the big bombs the leaders of these sanctions have had for years ....... and have used.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

accurate, fuel never, ever leaks, workers on the ground never err .......... and besides, those Iranian people don't need to fly anywhere further than their little confines anyway. Iran, who has allowed inspections by the IAEA, signed the NPT, unlike some countries WITH nukes, who has the petroleum but lacks refineries to keep up with domestic consumption so much so it causes riots, is terrorized because in years they MAY have the capability for a nuclear weapon. Is Israel, North Korea, the U.S., Britain, etc. being sanctioned? Why not?

8. If you're worried about gauges and leaks, then whether countries are refuelling planes is irrelevant
 If the gauges go wrong, or there's a leak, then a refuelled plane is in just as much danger.

9. But every pilot knows how much fuel he has at take off
 unless the pilot deliberately ignores safely procedures, this particular sanction does not endanger anyone. Iranians can't fly like they use to but only Iranian pilots can endanger their passengers.
