"The Site That Shall Not Be Mentioned" deserves a mention...
That wretched hive of scum and villainy, that "other" freeper board which makes the freepers look tame, which lives its very existence for the sole purpose of trying (and failing miserably) to goof on DU, that board is down and has been down for at least 12 hours now. Maybe it's been down for longer, but I've been away all weekend and first checked it last night at 9:00.
Mods might not like this post, but because it's a BAD thing about the cesspool, I figured more than a few DUers would be interested.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I guess their 30 members couldn't quite support the $9.95 hosting fee.
Shortly thereafter, our old home was open again. The owner of the site was always tinkering with it, and when one tinkers, sometimes it stops working until one tinkers some more.

9. It's not superstition...it's a goof
I mention them frequently, and usually the posts stand unless someone links to them. They go all nuts (or should I say went all nuts) when they see the their name mentioned here, and start thread after thread of giggling schoolgirl posts, saying "Skinner's gonna tombstone that guy for sure!"
So it's actually more fun to mention them as "the site that shall not be mentioned" because it makes them feel special. In a short-bus sort of way.
By the way, it still burns Pedro Picasso that the California piggy primitive beat him out of the top ten primitives of 2009, and only by a whisker.
