Oooh, forgot the fireworks...my brother should be getting some...and they're sold on just about every corner in my area.

Friday - last day of fiscal. I'm getting drunk.  :cheersmate: And asking a young lady to have dinner with me.
Saturday - curse my idiocy for getting drunk. Pull weeds, clean garage, prime walls in bedroom, water trees, mow lawn, hopefully have dinner with young lady
Sunday - replace booster/master cylinder in 4Runner, wash 4Runner, Mud bathroom, tell myself I'm a stud for date with young lady, watch fireworks from back yard
Monday - paint bedroom, sand bathroom, clean house, build a PPTX, remind myself I'm a stud for going out on date with young lady

Not sure yet.

My husband & I both have Monday off.  Daycare is open, so we're dropping our daughter off and going out to the desert to shoot.  We never have time to go out shooting and the opportunity is finally here.

I'm sure we will find some fireworks to watch.  Just not 100% sure yet.

Sat & Sun -- unsure, usual weekend stuff . . .
Monday (holiday) -- get another year older and blow up some stuff  :-)
Tuesday (vacation day) -- daytrip to Cape May, tool around in the boat and then hit the Lobster House.

It's actually the 5th, which is the "official" holiday day this year but when I was very young, I did think the parade and fireworks were sorta for me!  :-)

Your weekend sounds fun!!

Work on Friday and Saturday, maybe, but I have Sunday off.  If Work is slow, I might take the other two days off.  Sunday, we'll be trying to keep our gun-shy Beagle calm.

My best friend's birthday is Christmas Eve and she always gets ripped off.  My husband's birthday is December 21.  I'd hate to have a birthday so close to Christmas.

My aunt's birthday is December 23, and my mom's is December 27th. That's a fun Christmas.

Nope.  Never did get ripped off..  The family was very clear on making it a significant day during the holidays.   And neither did my brother whose bday is 12/27.

Gonna hang around the house. The 4th is my wife's B-day, so I've asked her to make a list of things she'd like me to do around the house.
I think I'm gonna be busy.  :thatsright:

Saturday: My daugther's birthday party
Sunday:  Boating in the morning, Barbeque in the afternoon at my parents.

Depending on when we get off work (might be nice and early):

Friday--Mow lawn, clean house, do laundry.

Saturday--Drink beer, grill shit.
Sunday--Drink beer, grill shit.
Monday--Drink beer, grill shit.

The ex's birthday was December 28th.  God help the person who combined a X-Mas and birthday gift.

It's not even Saturday and I already got a sunburn.  Awesome.

I probably won't be doing much other than enjoying four days of peace and quiet.  My trip to Memphis was uneventful -- poked around Olive Branch, MS but didn't see much so came back to Memphis for the night before returning home.  It was just too damn hot to be outside.  God, what horrible roads... I cringed every time the pavement changed.  You couldn't tell if it was going to be a four-inch bump or if your car was going to drop into a hole.  Awful, awful roads.

The hotel I stayed at was run by Indians (dot not feather).  Their dish network had an Indian-language station on it.  It was amusing to watch, but the cadence of the speakers threw me off every time if they were speaking English.  Weird.

I splurged and had lobster and crab legs for dinner.
