According to police and court records, Bess, 52, was found unclothed standing at the men’s room sink in the Cincinnati Public Library by police at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. When they searched Bess’ bag, police said they found a 4-pound chunk of cheese allegedly stolen from Silverglade's Cheese & Sausage In Findlay Market.

He also had two knives and some DVDs that belonged to the Vine Street library branch.

Police arrested him Wednesday on charges of public indecency; carrying a concealed weapon; knowingly trespassing; theft and receiving stolen property. A judge ordered Best to stay away from the library.

Bess, who is homeless, has been arrested numerous times.

Not Florida or Wisconsin, amazing!  :-)

Is it illegal to carry concealed cheese in OHIO.?

 How do the police know the cheese was stolen, is there a security tape at the store showing him stealing the cheese.??

This defendant was not in public he was in a men only restroom and may have had an accident and needed to wash out his underware .

The knives were for the purpose of cutting the cheese.

We have here your Honor a homeless man due to no fault of his own, [ lets blame this on Bush, ]  he spends his time at the Library educating himself, so what if he brings his lunch with him.

Anything else he had in his back pack was planted on him by the police.

I rest my case your Honor and intend to sue the Market that falsely accused him of theft, the Library and the police department.

Uh.......did ya miss the part where he was naked in the restroom? Do ya think the library, where most of the clientele tend to be minors, is a good place to take a full body bath?

I worked at a fast food joint in VA. that was open 24/7.  At 4 am one of my duty's was to herd out the street people that had spent the night in the winter in the Lady's room.

These woman were in fact taking sponge baths, washing their hair etc, washing their underware and using the hand dryer to blow them dry.

I have no idea what the men in the men's room were doing and DON'T want to know.
