What is up with that avatar?  I occasionally venture back to CU, and when I see your avatar, I forget where I am.  While it is clever, it makes me dizzy.  I forget who I'm talking to.

I have taken more than a double look when I come across his posts here. I'm wondering why Shannon is suddenly the voice of reason and compassion.

Actually, I've been trying desperately since early this morning to change the avatar, but all the quirks involved with moving this site to the new server apparently aren't ironed out yet.  I can't change the avatar, and so am stuck with it until I can.

I wish I could change it, because I got a dandy new one.

It's all innocent; last night, just before the servers were switched, I was just playing around.

Shannon of course is a member in good standing at this site, and with a good reputation.

But she hasn't shown up here for a while, and we miss her.

So I thought I would try to attract her here.

Despite, ahem, insinuations that it was malicious, it really wasn't.  I looked at it (the avatar) as if putting a plate of freshly-baked chocolate-chip cookies out on a window-sill, nothing more.

Well, it didn't work, and I tried switching avatars, but for now, I can't.
