Quote
The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has asked for investigations by the Federal Election Commission and the South Carolina attorney general.

South Carolina makes it a misdemeanor to induce someone or to be induced to run for office. The attorney general says he hasn't seen credible evidence of a crime. But there's little evidence of a campaign, either.

On Wednesday, Common Cause and Voter Action asked South Carolina to investigate whether its voting machines were hacked.

A lot of people in South Carolina are asking: How did Greene win a hundred thousand votes?

"I have no idea. I mean I have no idea whatsoever," says Joe Erwin, a former chairman of the state Democratic Party.

The guy was an absolute nobody. Didn't campaign or run ads or do anything that a politician running for office does. Just some Joe Blow who managed to get his name on the ballot. Unemployed but managed to come up with something like a 10 grand filing fee. And somehow he won by double digit percentages over the party "favorite."

The leftists see 2+2 and conclude that he's either a republican plant, got a victory through hacking the machines or won through racism.

So that is it? He wasn't the party "favorite"?

That and the fact that no one had ever heard of him.

Greene makes them look like idiots for not minding their own store.

But hey, if they want to beat down on some poor minority veteran because he's not the most "clean and articulate" fellow they are free to do so.

Even if Vic Rawls had won the nomination DeMint would still stomp a mud-hole through him. Maybe the dems want Rawls up there as a "serious" contender" to force DeMint and the GOP to spend money in SC that could otherwise be spent elsewhere. They won't have to spend too much all they have to do is feed the narrative that the SC dems arbitrarily stripped a legitimate winner and installed their favorite. That makes the dems look pushy, elitist and thuggish. Hell, it would even mute their complaint about Bush v Gore.

I think they should go for it.

The Democrats are trying to overthrow an election that they didn't like the outcome of.

Do you realize just what a big story this is and that the MSM is downplaying the entire deal?

Absolutely.

Complete disconnect from reality notwithstanding: how can they do this then complain that Bush was "selected not elected" in 2000?

To paraphrase Dean Wormer: Delusional and hypocritical is no way to go through life, son.

Wait a minute Sparky, for some reason my dark sense of humor makes this story really funny.

This nobody came up with $10,000 to put his name on the ballot.  -- money from drugs, scratch ticket, or a gift from a stranger--  who knows.

This unemployed man sits back and does NOTHING and still beats out a favorite.

Kind of reminds me of Obama [ after ] he was elected.

We were told  as school children that any child could become President or gain a seat in Congress. Never were we told that we would have to come up with $10,000 just to place our name on a ballot.  At no time were we told that we needed big money to get into the race.

Now the very party he represented is outraged that this Nobody won against their pick--- The humor in this is priceless.

It isn't complicated to see why he won.

  • Greene is Black and Rawls is White. We all know black dems vote 95% for the black candidate.
  • Greene was at the top of the voting list. Uninformed voters (aka DUMMASSES) just picked the first name on the list

Now how he got the money, no clue but probably a bunch of black churches gave him the money.

people know Rawl

I think its hilarous.

I also if people confused Greene and Rawl with 70's soul artists Green and Rawls..

Green - " Loving you whether times are good or bad, happy or sad "
Rawls - "You'll never find... that hangin' chad of mine... "

I think it's disgusting!  Robert Ford was on the ticket running for Governor and he's the reason the dems even bothered to show up.

Update on the Demint race (which is the seat Alvin wants) it was announced yesterday that this chica was contemplating running as an Indie.  She's a BITCH.  And SC will take the cake as the stupidest, dirtiest state in politics this term.

But she's perky and fun-loving!

Not as cute as as the girl in your avatar but she's not too hard on the eyes.

She's no Helen Thomas, that's for sure.

So why exactly is she a bitch?

I mean, I know the old joke about how a slut is a girl who screws everyone, but a bitch is a girl who will screw everyone BUT YOU, but if you could point to something she's done which would lead an unbiased or uninformed reader to also conclude she's a bitch...

Okay.  By your definition of the word "bitch" I'll admit that she probably wouldn't screw YOU, but she make take a shot at ME  :evillaugh:

As I stated, she ran for Henry Brown's seat in 2008.  She lost to Brown, a US Rep from my district, a Repub and now retiring from the House.  Ketner ran as a Dem, BUT...during the politicking in 2008 none of her ads pointed to her true political persuations up front and proud.  In other words, she did her best to NOT come across as the Liberal that she is.  Her main ads consisted of cozy kithen talks with Dad about how she was raised to be "compassionate, hard-working, adhering to Christian principles and truly down for the people".  Her ads were homey enough to get my attention but any where I searched to get a real feel (no pun intended) for the woman I came up clueless.  I even had one of her volunteers stop me on the sidewalk, campaign sign in hand, soliciting for my vote and when questioned about Ketner's political affiliation I got the answer "it shouldn't matter".  True democrat slime cover-up.  Just mere days before the race our local media announced her as "D".  Sorry, that is key.  And being a sneaky bitch.

And NOW she wants to run against Demint and Alvin, changing her party affiliation to Independant and no doubt will have the secret support of the liberal idiots Clyburn and Ford.

But just to appease, maybe I should change that to something less offensive to female dogs like....social whore?

Should I explain why I called Clyburn an idiot or is that evident????
