Calling Out The Freepers

I find it interesting that any member of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY should be making light of, and excusing, the bush administration spying on our presidential candidates, members of Congress, party officials, etc etc

this cuts to the heart of the debate on domestic surveillance. who is being spied on. who has secret files being made up on them. what is the criteria. etc etc. I for one am not willing to give a free pass to people who have shown not just a willingness, but an EAGERNESS to use corruption of our governmental institutions against our party. how many crucial votes were bought with intimidation, fear, and scandal through illegal wiretapping and access to protected secure data and information?

in light of what has happened to governor don siegelman, and the republican party's use of agent provocateur's in the past (phil parlock, communists for kerry, etc)

I think it is time to call out the freepers in disguise here. by attacking senator obama's passport files, the republican administration is continuing the treachery that began in watergate, and has continued to this day. these are fascist moves by a fascist party that seeks not to win through elections, but by intimidation, illegal surveillance, personal invasion, and as we've seen with governor siegelman, when all else fails, by corruption and brutality.

it is unthinkable that any right minded member of the democratic party would at this point give this administration a free pass, while making light of our members, candidates, and supporters.

it is time to begin calling out the freepers. if we do not stand together on this, it places in jeopardy not just senator obama, but any member of our party, be it a congressman or woman, governor, party members. and not just them, but the general american public.

are you willing to trust the bush administration's word and make light of our own party?

I know I'm not.

I think it's time for you to calm down, buttmunch.  You don't know the political affiliation of the people involved.

Um....are they talking about the Obama passport kerfluffle? Because low-level contractors working for State would not be Teh Rove's first pick of handmaidens. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Pray tell: what has been done with B Hussein O's passport info? How has that been used to defame him? How COULD it?

As for Ex-Gov. Seigelmen...you'll have to speak to the jury of his peers that convicted him by unanimous vote after reviewing evidence that established guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

EDIT: BTW - I'll see your passport breach that got 2 idiots fored and raise you the FBI files of 500 GOP politicians and operatives.

THAT'S YOUR ILLEGAL SPYING (and all done without FISA extensions or a legitmate national security threat).

What's cute is about 90% of the DUmmies did not know such a thing as a "passport file" existed until this came out.  Now they like to pretend they have stood guard over these files for years.
