How refreshing to have a President who actually works for a living.

Edited on Wed Jun-16-10 04:12 PM by Bluebear
I wish I had the statistics of how many days off on "working vacations" #44 has had in comparison to dry-drunk "working"-"ranch"-vacation #43 took at this point in their Presdencies. Just sayin'.

7. I often think of Bush saying that essentially his work day ended at around 5pm,

and I envision Obama generally working, reading, on the phone, researching, pretty much every waking hour.

14. Of the time he's taken (Martha's Vineyard & Hawaii) how many did he work due to circumstances?

How much of a vacation was the Vineyard when he was writing a Eulogy and attending the funeral for Sen. Kennedy :( or working on the incidences of the would be Christmas bomber

So I think the 26 days is a very high number, maybe count that as the number of attempted days... Regardless, he's not taken that much time...

Now wait just a cotton picken second, you all claimed that * couldn't possibly be doing any work outside of the oval office yet you think Obama could.

13. I was pissed at all the MSM whining when he took a short

Memorial Day weekend in Chicago, and even then he had gone to the Gulf first on Friday then the Memorial Day cemetery visit in Chicago.

And all the damn RW whackos trying to paint him as unpatriotic for not being at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Geeesh!

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

How much do they get paid to make excuses for the lazy ass "ONE"?

I want to know how to get those same drugs that are making them all think the world is right and rosy with Obaman....

I need some.... :bawl:

Since when do golf, shooting hoops, jetting off for fund raisers, concerts, endless dinner parties count as work? This man loves the IDEA of being president but wants little to do with the actual work involved.

They always hated Bush not being a party animal, and if he was they'd bitch about that.

I remember a quote by a staffer who asked Reagan if he would like to keep they daily 6:30 AM status briefings.  His reply was along the lines "Sure, go ahead, and if something important happens, wake me up."

47 rounds of golf in the first 17 months of office.  Bush, something like 25 in all eight years.

Just sayin.

I guess jet setting all around the country reading speeches in a neverending campaign does too.

Not to mention throwing lavish parties once a week and eating $100 a pound steak all the time....who knew there was that much work in being "The One".

These people have very little depth. Obama goes around the country saying , "See, look at MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" And says a bunch of shit he's "going to do".  That constitutes work for them because he's constantly in the public eye campaigning (it's really all he knows how to do) and they're too superficial to figure out things are going on beyond their field of vision. Bush, OTOH, worked quietly, usually out of public view and then we'd see the results. Had he given them a dot-to-dot page so that they could make a picture or a version of Candyland where one started with the declaration of what needed to be done...then little steps along the colored squares as different tasks towards the goal are accomplished until one crossed the finish line they might be able to understand.

I'm completely flabbergasted by these DUmbass comments! Everything they have posted is an out and out lie!

O has takin' more vacations in the same time frame as W, he has played damn near twice as many rounds of golf, W didn't even play basketball, never even heard of him having a dinner party once a frikkin' week, etc, etc, etc..........

Where the hell are they getting this shirt? It is so far from the truth it should even embarrass a DUmbass, and I thought that was impossible!

Nice site ya got their "foreskinner"!
