QUESTION: You have been in support of onshore drilling in the United States as well as offshore drilling, are you rethinking that policy with what is going on in Louisiana?

ANGLE: No. I think that what happened in Louisiana was an accident. They're cleaning it up. We need to go forward and talk about prevention and not about whether we keep it out all together. We know that lot of the problems that have been caused for us with foreign policy and even with our own gas prices here domestically going up is our dependence upon foreign oil.

We have oil reserves and petroleum reserves that we should tap into. And that's a policy that we really need to look at as a nation. How do we deregulate enough to invite our industries to come back into the United States and quit outsourcing their business?

She's so clueless about what happened with Oil Disaster and what it has done to the enviroment, wildlife, working people along the coast, etc.

She even wants to prohibit alcoholic beverages! I enjoy wine, beer and bourbon. Dear Sharon, stay out of my wet bar!

So she said--it "was an accident." Now there's a controversial statement.  :mental:


Then she says we need to tap into our petroleum reserves--well, ok, we can take it for granted insane liberals hate oil even though surely many of them like to drive and use petroleum products every day. Still, as statements go, it's pretty ordinary and commonplace.

Then she says that she would like to stop outsourcing of American jobs. Which is easily one of the 10 top things they had a hate on for Bush about, although I suppose they hated him for having the letter "B" in his name. But, if we take these shitheads at face value, it would seem they favor outsourcing.

Of course they're going to rip into her like anything. She's smart, reasonably articulate, conservative, and they're always threatened when these qualities come together in a woman.

Okay, the sleezebag walks the walk and talks the talk of a "white nationalist" and I think she is. Do we have any links that show she is directly involved with any of these hate groups. Please, no links to any of those nasty hate sites, they make me puke. I have Googled the internets and can't come up with anything substantial other than supposition and speculation. Anyone?

This is something I've been wondering myself for years.  Business is like water or electricity:  all will follow the path of least resistance.  Why/how do you think China or India has all these companies falling all over themselves to re-locate there?  And what will happen 10-20 years from now when China becomes a major manufacturing country, like WE USED to be?
 
Sounds like Sharron Angle knows what she is talking about, unlike Reid or anything at the DUmp....

And just a quick google on the alcohol thing tells you this is just a contrived meme.  She was discussing the legalization of mj, and she made a reference to alcohol as a parallel.  She has no interest in messing with the booze laws, and even voted against some tax on it.
