Claiming the “authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,” President Obama has truly gone off the deep end this time in his most atrocious attempt to date to control every aspect of Americans’ lives.

According to Sec. 5. of the Executive Order that details the President’s “National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy,” the Council will be charged with carrying out “lifestyle behavior modification” among American citizens that do not exhibit “healthy behavior.”

The President’s desired lifestyle behavior modifications focus on:

* smoking cessation;
* proper nutrition;
* appropriate exercise;
* mental health;
* behavioral health;
* sedentary behavior;
* substance-use disorder; and
* domestic violence screenings.

Making matters even worse, if that is even possible at this point, President Obama will create an “Advisory Group” composed of experts hand-picked from the public health field an

MEMORANDUM FOR THE SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

SUBJECT: Delegation of Authority to Appoint Commissioned Officers of the Ready Reserve Corps of the Public Health Service

By virtue of the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 301 of title 3, United States Code, I hereby assign to you the functions of the President under section 203 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by Public Law 111-148, to appoint commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps.  The exercise of this authority is limited to appointments of individuals who were extended offers of employment for appointment and call to active duty in the Reserve Corps of the Public Health Service with an appointment date subsequent to March 23, 2010, the date of enactment of Public Law 111-148, but who were not on active duty on that date, and those individuals who are selected for the 2010 Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program.  This authority may not be re delegated.

You are authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register.

This was predicted when National Healthcare became a possibility. This is of no surprise to me. Funny thing though, how can they do this without walking all over the Constitution?? IMO, this distinctly interferes with liberty and the pursuit of happyness.

In order to ensure the population is healthy, they will also kill off the unfit. Government run healthcare systems already deny treatment to those who are not 'cost effective' (that is those people who might be in the hospital because of a condition brought on by an unhealthy lifestyle).

Yup and that goes for anyone who has an age problem from having a child, or woman that that hold high risk jobs due to the fact that if they die their kids will have to grow up without a mother.  So No kids for any woman with a health problem, no kids for any person over the age of 40, no woman can risk a child's life by becoming a Cop, firewoman, or join the military.  No mother should drive a car, truck or captain a ship or become a pilot.  Kick out the woman in the military and the space program.

This comes to mind another topic where a 70 year old woman gave birth and some said how selfish she was to have a child when the child may live without a mother.
  Abort the child if the mother does not guarantee they can live long enough to raise the child.
Do we force sterilization on those who are blind, deaf or have any number of health conditions.?

From what I have seen on the topic of this woman that had a child and was so old that people feel she is selfish to have a child as the chances of dieing before the child is raised----

I find that this thinking is very close to advocating abortion for those that have a medical problem, too old or with a inherited condition.

In 2009 I was in Grand Prairie TX for MOS-Q training. The NCOIC told us if we used profanity when we spoke we did not deserve to be medics.

That was within his first 10 minutes of being introduced to us and nobody took him seriously after that moment. He was the butt of incessant jokes afterwards...even among the handful of religiously students who did not use profanity as an outward conduct of their faith. Soldiers are profane because their job is profane and medics are vulgar for the same reason. Medics drink apple juice out of spcimen cups and sign you up for unneeded prostate exams because that is what we do. Take that away and you will not have medics that crawl into burning vehicles toi pull out their buddies, you will be left with bureaucrats that make sure you SF 600

The NCOICs directive didn't make him look more professional it made him look foolish, out-of-touch and bullyish with an ironic slathering of impotent.

Issuing orders that any reasonable person could presume will not be obeyed by the majority of those to whom it has been issued only serves to weaken the commanding authority.

We live in a nation where obesity is the #1 health issue confronting The Poor^TM. Yet, if someone suggested the government monitor welfare and food subsidies to these individuals so as to not enable self-destructive behaviors with taxpayer funds a howling chorus would be leveled to drive heretics from our sight. Moreover, this fact is so well understood that is why so propositions are offered. The heretics know better and the howlers know they have the heretics cowed. In other words everyone knows nutruition isn't a universal precept, it is maleable by political-socio-economic standing. No one, on either side takes it seriously and both sides know it and they know the other side knows it.

So for Obama to send forth such edicts from on-high when everyone is in on the joke only serves to make Obama the punchline.

I've had Painkillers that are similar. Both drinks are nothing but sugar in different chemical states.

Suckin' down that drink!! Bet most people think it's just a cute little milkshake. Yep, one that will knock your socks off.

I care about the whole thing, because it has potential to open up Pandora's box in terms of what they can regulate. The whole thing is all bad, but I'd like to (being a smoker myself) focus on this issue for the moment.

Honestly, haven't smokers been screwed with enough. Non smokers have got restaurants, planes, and now bars for crying out loud. How much more will we have to pay through the teeth when the little people like me are hurting in a terrible economy? How long will it take this man to ban the freedom of smoking (based on a lie) outright? Sh9ould we do the same with obese people? Go seek out 400 pound men and women, bring a large buck knife with us, and cut off rolls until our desired weight is acheived? Don't think so.

Obviously, that example was an extreme. The point of stripping freedoms literally or figuratively still remains.

That's alright, Obama. You do that, because prohibition worked SO well the last time.... The crime problem will guaranteed rise.


The Empire is clearly bearing down on the Republic, and Obama is at the head of it.
