Yes, you are misremembering. I had no trouble with such. I had problems with those who would "stay home" or vote "democrat".

Well, no, I don't. You do occasionally get spun up to the point of losing your tact, but I blow it off when you do that.
However I have to say I really don't follow the logic on the difference between two things you say in your post. On the one hand, you've just said people who would ultimately choose to stay at home rather than vote for a RINO are bad; on the other hand, if they hold their nose and do finally vote for him, that's not bad because it is the lesser of two evils. I just don't see how you put all that together.
I have to say, that does sound a lot like the poster I'm remembering. The situation involved was that someone who was a 2nd Amendment advocate was being called out because he had talked about staying home rather than vote for McCain; that would correspond pretty closely with what you just said about those who choose to stay home.
