I know some used to have more than one mole at the DUmp. What I'd like to know is....does anyone maintain a well populated prairie dog burrow?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

That's fascinating, kudos to you for pulling it off, I don't have the patience for that though, and the few times I've in a roundabout way knocked Republicans I've felt guilty, I'm stubborn though and have a hard time spouting kooky leftist ideas. ...
I write grand essays extolling the virtues of socialism over there but I always make it a point to leave a fatal flaw in the argument. The goal is to see who, if anyone, picks up on the flaws.

For the most part they just applaud like the happy little sub-simians they are. I wonder though, is it because: they don't see the flaws or because they don't *want* to see the flaws or are too scared to not tow the party line.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

It works pretty good because people buy me stars and hearts all the time.

So you really are a total post-whore, then.

Tread very lightly on this issue in here.  This smells like a mole trap to me no matter what you say.  I'll lock this thread in a heartbeat if my my gut gets any more nervous about this.

Everyone here knows that DU lurks and reads here.  First person that comes to me and says their mole got burned means you're @ss is in a big sling.

Consider this your warning.

I think it's funny as hell! I can just see them frantically trying to figure out who is a mole and who is not. I've lost a number of moles. Shortest one was 3 posts. I had the nerve to ask why they didn't allow a difference of opinion. Heh, heh!

Let's make them even more frantic. Whereas I don't get paid to mole DU, I do use it as a training tool for what I do get paid for.

I will neither confirm nor deny that I have planted a mole over there, but if I do, I would played like MSB - as a role playing game with a fully developed persona.

I will also neither confirm nor deny that those who I believe are genuine DUers have been banned because we have identified them as moles both here in the DUmpster, and with Pizza comments and alert button mashing over there.

Okay, I admit it! I was TiT!

Let 'em stew over that for a while........I'm sure there are a couple who will swear it's true!

My favorite suicide run was Schade, registered as Schade using her pic as an avatar and cross posting it all over on CU.

She lasted longer than anyone thought she would and did out a few lurkers who about choked to death alerting on her when they recognized her. It was great.  :lmao:

Someone directly involved in the WOLVERINES!!!!1111 incident needs to document this fully, but in a nutshell:

One or more moles infiltrated the DUmp quietly, using signature graphics that were hosted on a server controlled by one of the moles. These signature graphics were DUmmy-friendly, and other DUmmies began using them in their own sig lines. After sufficient infection of the hive with the use of these graphics, the server controller replaced the image files with pictures that mocked DU and its admins, resulting in mass bannings of those DUmmies who were using them.

It was a classic operation.  :evillaugh:

Wasn't one of them but I remember that.  I don't believe the admin or mods were ever able to delete all the pics that were posted.  There were whole threads there reporting "Here's one mods" with a link to the offending post. Very funny!

Because of that, DU changed the way it handles avatars and other inline images, they are all located on their servers now. The only exception are the one-off photos used in single posts, such as a DU picture thread.

That being said, the DU picturebomb was awesome    :hi5:

I remember hearing about that... it was awesome.  Wasn't that what caused a bunch of new members to show up at CU in 2004?  That's roughly when I found out about CU but I didn't sign up for another year.

It was until they made a raging anti-semite by the name of gator and admin while the owner was absent.

He went full-on for Ron Paul and ended-up a dozen or so fellow zealots who had nothing of value to add except cheap pejoratives. The site came apart at the seams.

I and many others were banned for daring to speak against Lord Paulsy of the Flaming Anus. I myself found several of Paul's loonier articles and posted them at length, unedited; thus invoking my bannination.

To this day Ron Paul is a sore subject at this site...this site having been established as a refuge of the banned and disgusted.

Go to the Fight Club forum and read its earliest threads for the ensuing catharsis that was this site.

I couldn't deal with the daily Paulgasms over there either, and nearly disappeared from CU altogether, but thankfully I was sent A PM on CU mentioning CC.

And here I am.   :-)

Although I'm neither mod nor admin, I feel we are all adults here, and those of us with active moles know well enough to not divulge identities. -- nothing against you soleil, but as a rule, the only mole(s) we know the identity of are our own, save for the suicide runners. It would be stupid to divulge your mole because it would probably go poof. I always see people talking about having a mole, so I didn't think this conversation would be out of line. Eh, oh well.

Indeed -- This is why I will neither confirm nor deny the existence of any mole. Nor will I confirm or deny the existence of UNWrecker 1.04 - which when used with an active mole account can automatically Unrec all posts by a specific DUer, or the last 20 posts in any forum. I will also neither confirm or deny that I may or may not plant suspicion of genuine members as moles, so they will ultimately get Tombstoned.   :-)

They don't get a very good reception here either.  That doesn't stop their dumb asses from showing up, though.  It got to the point where we put in an extra forum for their bullshit.
