...The homeowner, Ryan Walker, said his band members painted a large male sex organ on his roof during his bachelor party. He said he just found out about it now, six months later. "I think it's hilarious," said Walker. "If you woke up and the news is at your house, and you had a giant penis on your roof what would you think?"

Neighbors on his street in north Phoenix also said they had no idea it was there, and were shocked to hear about it. "That was a little eye opener," said Darnell Whitfield. "It was like a hit of coffee or something in the face. A penis on the roof. I was like huh? Are you serious?"

Some neighbors were offended, saying it was derogatory and they couldn't believe anybody would do that. Walker's next door neighbor said she doesn't mind as long as it's on the roof. Walker said America needs a story like this right now. "With the economy, with the Bear Stearns thing happening today why not a giant penis on the roof?" said Walker.

It is clearly inappropriate for it to be painted on the roof, but I don't see how it is derogatory.
