jmowreader (1000+ posts) Sun May-30-10 06:08 PMOriginal messageThe reason I HATE that stupid-ass "it is the soldier, not the community organizer" poem You've read it...It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. The reason I hate the ****ing thing is, North Korea has soldiers coming out the ass, and they don't have freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom to demonstrate or fair trials.

Soldiers, when they've been used appropriately, have defeated scumbags who wanted to take it all away from us.But they didn't give us anything. We did that. They just helped us defend it from time to time and for that we need to be grateful.

"The nation that couldn’t be conquered by foreign enemies has been conquered by its elected officials" odawg Free Republic in reference to the GOP Elites who are no difference than the Democrats
soon as you find your manhood all else falls into place.
If Ft. Hood was "workplace violence," then the Hindenburg was an air show.
I don't know if sand glows in the dark, but we're gonna find out.
I so have to hold back and not go in there and tell those scumbags off.
I have started to think about launching a mole over there. I'd have to lie low which would be tough.
I can't do it. 3 separate times I've gotten pizza in under a dozen posts.
Do it, Bally, make along the lines of a 4 paragraph essay telling those idiots just how stupid, wrong, and hateful they are. Link us to it right after though, so we can see all the comments.I say go fourth with the suicide mission.
Patton of course would never stop throwing up reading the cesspoll that is the Democractic Underground.
Patton would have hired hackers to tear it apart
I'm really furious about it, I can't even read the rest of that thread, they're disgusting and that's the nicest thing I can say, they fawn over poems that are stupid yet attack the things that are good in this Country especially our service men and women, and it's because of those men and women and the sacrifice they and their families make, that we continue to enjoy freedom.

Just jingoism to cover the stink of their contempt for their fellow Americans and the Constitution

Well now, after reading that thread I can't imagine why anyone would feel contempt for you "fellow Americans".The truth is, I would gladly dump the entire population of DU into a sausage grinder to save the life of one combat veteran.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. - George S. Patton Patton of course would never stop throwing up reading the cesspoll that is the Democractic Underground.
As a member of the Patriot Guard, that's what I post in the family's tribute to the fallen.
