C-SPAN Photoshops in a flag at Obama Press Conference!!

The image that accompanies the video of the press conference.

There were NO FLAGS there. You can click on the video and see that for yourself.

Why would C-SPAN do this?

yeah - they used a stock photo of Obama. Its not Photoshopped.

If you look at the position of the podium against the drapery you'll notice the pattern doesn't line up right.
CSpan did the same thing at the Jewish American Heritage Month Reception.

Regardless - I do find it odd that at this event, there are no flags. It was a silly oversight.

I thought there was always supposed to be a flag wherever the President spoke...or is it the Presidential Seal that's supposed to be there?

OK my 2cents The 0ne didn't want the flag, but CSpan knowing the people do photoshoped it ? No since when does Cspan care about the people? OK the real employees had the holiday weekend off and they had extra time on hand and photoshopped it in?  How is that FGL sound like a plausible answer? FGL? :-)

The hammer and sickle flag that he wanted was at the dry-cleaners, and the Presidential Seal has BP oil on it.  :-)

Oh, I don't know if use of a pic from a previous event is so bad.  I think it's just "frugality" (aka laziness).  They already had a pic of him, so why create a new one?  Or it might have just been a mistake.  Here are the picture files from the videos on that page:
