My mother passed this afternoon - A Democrat that will be missed
My mother was a good Democrat having worked on many campaigns all the way back to Humphrey and Senator Hughes (Iowa) to Senator Bedell.

I remember many a campaign party at my parents house growing up.

She was proud of my involvement in the Kerry, Clinton and Obama campaigns.

She worked the polls for many years until about 5 - 5 years ago.

She was 89 years old and will be laid to rest in Iowa on Saturday.

I will be away for a few days tending to family things, so keep up the fight.

My God she must have hated her mother. She dies and the first thing she wants to do is run to the DUmp and spew about what a good Dem she was.  When each of my parents passed, I didn't even want to talk to anyone the first day or so.

Maybe that was something near and dear to her mother. People grieve in all kinds of ways. No criticism from me. And I don't know this poster either, but maybe that is something her mother would want to be remembered for.

Then wouldn't you spend time with family doing that ?

I would, but again people grieve differently.

Yeah, DUmmies seem to grieve by running to the DUmp whenever someone dies.  Even when it's someone they worked with, but never talked to until just days before they died.

On the positive side, dear dead mother will continue to vote absentee, like a good Dem.

Ok, but remember these are people. This person did just lose their mother. I find it in much poorer taste to make fun of it.

She'll get to vote twice now, yeah? As for soleil and poor taste, I don't think we have to worry about the dummies sensitivities when one of their own had his cold stiff fingers pried away from the keyboard so his mom could post about just finding him at room temperature.

What does that have to do with anything?

One of them died at their keyboard, and their own mother posted about it right when it happened. That is typical of the DUmmies. Every death is just a cause to look for sympathy.

Others with longer time here or at the old site know more exactly what happened. A DUmmie did die at their keyboard, though.

I've felt disgust, anger, humor, and now pity for the DUmbasses.

That. Is. Just. Sad.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I am sure she was shocked. After seeing my own mother find out her son had died, I can assure you there is no looking for sympathy. That doesn't factor in. In fact, not much factors in at all. Shock and terrible terrible sadness.

BS. For having been a member of the DUmp, you don't know their ways very well.  Every personal thing they post is either a bouncy or they're looking for sympathy.

BS. You are telling me after a mother found her son dead, all she wanted was sypmathy? Are you serious? Just because he was a member of DU?
