Fatal shooting reported outside MacDill AFB

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Fire officials say one person is dead in a shooting at an entrance gate to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla.

Tampa Fire Rescue officials say they were called to the gate at 6:47 p.m. on Wednesday.

Tampa police and MacDill base security are investigating. No details were available.

MacDill is located south of downtown Tampa

Nothing on Fox News Channel, and there's only 3 sources online and all are identical. Might be unrelated to the military, this time.

FNC is reporting the guy was an Army vet and that an FBI agent assisting in the apprehension killed the attacker.
