Poll question: The thread lock feature is:

I've heard it all, in PM's and personal chats. Personal bias plays too large a role! How can an anti-Obama thread remain open? Why was my anti-Obama thread locked? Why do some words result in an immediate TS of a thread? Why are some words allowed to remain? Who is this Robb/dingbat person?
So, what do you think?
Poll result (15 votes)
Overused    (7 votes, 47%)   Vote
Underused    (3 votes, 20%)   Vote
Too subjectively employed    (3 votes, 20%)   Vote
Too objectively employed    (0 votes, 0%)   Vote
Just right, thank you mods!    (0 votes, 0%)   Vote
Other    (2 votes, 13%)   Vote

The thread lock is to keep more people from getting banned.

This is the thread in totality, so far.

DUmmies love to complain.  Personally, I think they lock too many threads.

That site is WAY over-modded.  Bunch of f'ing babies who can't handle their widdle feelings getting hurt, which leads to locking threads & deleting posts.

A rule they have that I can't understand is the one about no "calling out of other DU members."  Couldn't any discussion at all be interpreted to be "calling out" whoever you're posting with?  Besides a waving or hugging smiley?
