Answer is pretty simple to me. Kill the oceans you kill life on Earth for the time being. (Don't worry about the Earth as a whole, it's survived far worse in the past).

1. I dont know that I would single out BP, I would say it is more like Oil Companies

I can't address such abstract questions as "mankind's survival", but I do know Leftist organizations have been responsible for around 100,000,000 deaths, give or take, and that's not even counting the abortions brought to you by that same school of thought.
