Clinton Records From ’90s to Be Released on Wednesday

More than 11,000 pages of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s schedules as first lady, records sought by a conservative watchdog group and journalists, will be released on Wednesday, the National Archives announced Tuesday.

The quest for public disclosure of the schedules has attracted close attention throughout the presidential campaign, partly because Mrs. Clinton has held up her years at the White House as evidence of her experience.

The records to be released Tuesday amount to virtually all of her schedules of meetings, speeches and the like as first lady. They are being released in response to a suit brought under the Freedom of Information Act by the conservative group, Judicial Watch. The National Archives has explained the delay in making them public by arguing that the vetting process takes time.

The Archives said in a statement Tuesday that the records, to be released both in Washington and in Little Rock, Ark., the site of the Archives-administered Clinton Presidential Library, were from the staff files of Patti Solis Doyle, Mrs. Clinton’s former campaign manager, who was her chief White House scheduler.

“Arranged chronologically, these records document in detail the activities of the first lady, including meetings, trips, speaking engagements and social activities for the eight years of the Clinton administration,” the statement said.

Of the 11,046 pages to be released, 4,746 pages have redactions, mostly relating to “the privacy interests of third parties,” including Social Security numbers and home addresses, the Archives said.

Thousands of pages of daily schedules for Hillary Clinton when the New York senator was first lady during husband Bill Clinton's presidency are being released by the National Archives and Records Administration, according to Judicial Watch, a public interest organization that investigates and prosecutes government corruption.

"It's about time," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said today. "We're pleased, thanks to Judicial Watch's lawsuit, that the American people will be able to review Hillary's daily schedule records.

"The Clintons have slow-pedaled this process but were unsuccessful in delaying the document release any further," he said. "However, this does not put an end to Judicial Watch's pursuit of Hillary's White House records, including her telephone logs."

(Story continues below)

Judicial Watch said it had been notified by the National Archives and Records Administration that 11,046 pages of Clinton's daily schedule records, comprising 2,888 days, will be released starting tomorrow.

The release is in response to the organization's lawsuit seeking access to the public documents, for which a status hearing is scheduled in court.

Judicial Watch said it would post the documents on its website.

Archives officials notified Judicial Watch March 1 of their plans to start releasing documents after, "The Clinton Presidential Library … completed its exacting page-by-page, line-by-line review of approximately 10,000 of the 30,000 pages of records potentially responsive to [Judicial Watch's] April 5, 2006 Freedom of Information Act request. …"

oh no, this only makes both of them more unpalatable... i think Hilary was forced to do this, I mean a FOI Act had to be enacted to get them!

she didnt offer them up, she was SUMMONED to do so  :lmao:

i think she looks like an insincere politician.. same old same old.

and Barack just keeps screwing up; he is just too young and inexperienced in business to lead the free world. it aint gonna happen for that kid.
