Seeing she's been tapped by the "one", you can only assume she's of like political mindset.
Socialism has to be imposed.  It doesn't work if some citizens want to be socialists and other citizens want to be free.  The NRA and GOA don't care about imposing gun ownership on people who don't want to own guns.

Yes but we are talking about people who do not believe in freedom. The same people who told us "dissent is patriotic" want to ban all dissent now that they are in power. Kagan lost the Citizens United case because of the argument she used. She said the law gave them the power to censor all political speech no matter the format. If she had said the law gave them the power to ban 3rd party political ads 30 days before the election, she might have actually won a 5-4 decision, but the swing vote was as mouth-agape at the argument used as the conservative justices were.

I was actually responding as to why Kagen being a socialist was news.  The poster's whole point of comparing a socialist to someone who belongs to a 2nd Amendment activist group being spurious.
