Second "Left Behind" PC game sequel in the works
« on: May 10, 2010, 12:55:23 PM »
Though this has been officially announced in press releases, I only found out about this just now from the games' senior producer (who is a contact of mine).  "Left Behind 3: Rise of the Antichrist" should be released later this year, in time for Christmas.  "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" was a really great game from a brand new company, but it unfortunately got a lot of bad press due to widely spread lies from liberals.  I was playing through the game and analyzing it on my blog.  You can read those posts here:

While the "Left Behind" series brings some valid points to the table, I don't personally agree with it. I don't really truly believe in the "Rapture". It was a theory surmised by a preacher back in the mid to late 1800s. That's just my personal opinion.

AS far as video games, perhaps this might be better than some out there. Too many of them are far too violent.

Yeah, I don't necessarily subscribe to the "End Times" theology of the books.  I stay open-minded, though, and ready for anything.  They were a fun read, though, and the plot is interesting, as it is for the game.  What's cool, though, is that the game has information pages to read at the end of levels and they present the "End Times" issues in an open-minded way.  They don't say "it will happen exactly as this game depicts."

As far as violence in the game goes, it definitely is far less than the typical game these days.  The real trick is that violence doesn't benefit you and can actually cause you to lose the game.
