The only security Obama cares about is that of the Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq. Screw the troops and contractors. My DH wants to go do his intel analyst voodoo (ok, I used to do that too) in Afghanistan this fall for a year, but I'm so scared to send him off, money or not, with a CinC like Lord Pissypants.
I really don't think my guys and gals will get a chance to chow down on illegal butt since our major drug traffiking route runs almost 3 miles south of me...but I do know people on that road who have been threatened with death if they call the Border Patrol and who do sleep with the loaded pistol..
Far be it from me, or any Arizonan, to tell the dickheads in DC what the reality of the border is. They don't care and we KNOW it. I'm pinning my hopes on November.
