Slate-grey Saturday
« on: May 08, 2010, 07:10:30 AM »
Rain showers blew through here this morning around 3.  So much for sleeping in until 5:15.  Working 12's today and tomorrow.

That is all.

Here, also.  Baking banana bread this morning, while it's cool outside.  This afternoon will be perfect to play outdoors.   :-)

A couple of hours before it hit you, Sparky, it hit me.

Still pretty cloudy and just bleah today.  A good day to stay in and watch Johan Santana pitch at CitiField at 1 PM, and watch the NSC race at Darlington tonight.

Wonderfully sunny here.  I have all sort of things I need to get done today, but I'm still waking up with a cup of coffee  :-)

Perfect grillin' weather.  Time for some hamburgers and a beer for lunch.

Well, they redid the schedule, and because the other relay tech is down in GA this weekend, I'm the ONLY guy who can do a couple of the electrical procedures that need to be done before restoring the pump/motor to service.

Guess when they're scheduled for?  That's right, 0200 Sunday morning.  Got sent home at noon, told to come back at 10, work until 8 tomorrow morning, and will work 7 PM-7AM Monday.

FML.

We're currently going through a confused time period right now.  The sun is out, but there's more rain on the way.  There's a high wind advisory until 6 PM tomorrow.

There is a frost advisory here tonight. One of the people I know on Facebook said there is snow in Michigan.  :censored:

I'm seeing it now as well.  More rain around 10, wind until 5 or 6 PM tomorrow.
