111. If you do the math, the world's oceans will be dead in a week
At least they would be if this were evenly spread around the world, I guess.
The link provided by the OP says 1 quart of oil can make 250,000 gallons of ocean water incapable of supporting life.
One gallon of oil can therefore poison 1 million gallons
200,000 gallons a day are leaking now (as far as we know)
According to Wikipedia, there are 1.3 million cubic kilometers of ocean water on Earth.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Ok, it's been over a week, and guess what?

We're still here, and so are the oceans. But then, we could have told you that (in fact, I think we did).

And they say we're the fearmongers.

If only Obama had acted quickly or even had just one fire boom. There was a plan from 1994 that was NOT immediately implemented as it should have been.  I want to know is this MIHOP or LIHOP?

Definitely LIHOP, face it Slo Joe (aka Head Wound Harry, aka Jo Jo the clown) is no Darth Cheney, thus could never have survived the 5k+ dive to rig the well head..... :tinfoil2:  Heck Jo Jo can barley blow his own nose let alone blow a well head!!

There are plenty of malcontent moles and dummies just watiting to get some chicken wire and cinder blocks to recreate this mother of all disasters.  If there is one thing we have learned from the dump it is that accidents don't just happen by, well, accident, nicht wahr??

Except perhaps for Eferrari,

But then, nobody in their right mind would want to put it into damaged goods like her anyway.

Yep! Their heads are so lacking in intelligence, their brains would soak it up like a sponge!

Gives new meaning to heads full of mush, don't it?

You are assuming they have brains in their empty skulls to begin with....

I don't understand how their heads keep from imploding from the vacuous void within....
