A Teabagger just tried to kill my family
 Advertisements [?]
Edited on Thu Apr-29-10 03:10 PM by Zephie
My husband and I were just driving home from running some errands, when a man on a trike with a HUGE American flag came up behind us and tailed us extremely closely. This is not uncommon as we have some bumper stickers which people come close to read (Obama 2012 and an anti-fox news sticker - neither with any type of obscenity). I laughed and pointed out that we "had another one". Moments later he falls back and lets some space come between us and then speeds up to what must have been close to 100 mph and suddenly jerks into the next lane, up beside us and then pulls in front of us with less than a foot of space. My husband jerks to avoid hitting him and we ended up spinning out into the opposing lane. Being a good driver he managed to recover before we got hit, but we ended up behind the same trike rider at the next light. He proceeded to get OFF his trike, start flipping us off and screaming how we were the "scum of the earth and deserved to burn in hell, baby killers, and nazis" and a few other choice words that I won't repeat as quite frankly I don't remember everything he said since by that point I was literally shaking in terror of both nearly being hit and then having a big burly biker coming at us. We pulled away as fast as we could and turned off onto a side street. I'm still terrified. I have no idea what would have happened if we hadn't fled. I should also note that in addition to our liberal stickers, there are also military stickers from my husbands time in the service... Even though he fought for his country, the Teabaggers are still willing to see him, his wife, and children dead and are willing to try to do it themselves without blinking an eye. That is a scary state of affairs.

A lot of posts asking if she got the license plate.  She didn't, she was too scared.

Remember this next guy?  He has another very loony thread, claiming he's "back with a vengence."  I think he had been put away for a little while.  He's one of the most insane people over there.

16. I have two switches on my dashboard...
The first switch flashes the brake lights, even if I'm not braking.

This deters all but the most repulsive nazi road-raging types.

The second switch flashes the WHITE REVERSE lights.

Even the most die-hard bush-nazi type would spin out off the freeway.

38. That's almost as funny as the OP.
Tell you what: if your reverse lights went on while you were going down the freeway at freeway speeds I wouldn't be spinning off of the freeway, I'd be wondering what was wrong with your electrical system.

Did you put those switches there yourself? Is every tailgater a "repulsive nazi road-raging type"?

Yup. Allllmost as funny as the OP.

I'm back...with a vengeance!!
I have decided to come back to DU after a long layoff in which to consolidate my writings. Indeed, this is a critical period in our country's history, and frankly we are at a point where we have to fully understand our situation.

DESPITE our OVERWHELMING victory last year, I've been horrified...HORRIFIED...on the murderous, traitorous, inhumane activity put out by Republicanist bastards. SO CLOSE to ultimate success...and yet...

We are at the brink of destruction.

We are also at the brink of ultimate peace and prosperity.

But it is up to US to decide which direction we go.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

If we ban the republican party, we well have ultimate peace and prosperity.

If we do NOT ban the republican party, we will all be destroyed.

This is NOT a gray area, folks. This is pure and simple logic, based upon upon years, decades, and centuries of unimpeachable evidence.

I will be popping out the articles once every couple days. Stay tuned for a complete and absolute smackdown on anything and everything republican, capitalist, racist, sexist, theocratist, and anti-human.

Karin, you've found some good stuff!

No way in HELL anyone on a trike is going to pull in front of a car like that.  As someone who rides a bike a LOT I can tell you that this story never happened and never would.  Those of us on bikes are terrified of 'cagers'.

Once you get stopped it is another story but not moving down the road.

Just spent the last 20 minutes on the phone with the police giving a description but they have told us that since no one else witnessed it that there probably wont be any real outcome one way or the other, but that they'll keep a look out for him. Thank you all for the kindness, it's very appreciated - I've been equipped for a verbal conflict for awhile with these schmucks, but I never expected anything like that to happen. And those of you who choose to say it's not true you're welcome to your opinion. I just don't see what anyone would gain by lying about something like this...

DUmp cred, that's about it.

Poor Zep. Hasn't been around long enough to know that you have to actually verbally smack down a Rethug. Not to mention no bushes, cops jumping out of bushes (though I'll give credit that she did include cops later, just not jumping out of bushes which is a DUmp requirement,) and nodding, agreeing spectators. Better luck next time.

seems there's alot of newbie activity going on there today.  We have another example of a low post count individual with an "interesting" tale to tell:

let me tell you a story about my RW uncle.
He is kind of an Eric Cartman Republican. He hates immigration and has bumper stickers that say "this is America, speak English." He always talks about how even though he voted for him, Bush was too liberal on immigration. He thinks that immigrants come to America for what he calls "free-handouts." He likes to make fun of what he calls "tree-hugging hippies" or "bleeding heart liberals." During Christmas last year he talked at dinner about how there is only one true religion and one true church which is the catholic church in front of my deist father. In the below paragraph I will explain his hypocrisy.

Well let me give you some information about him. He's 42 years old and was the youngest in the family. My mom is 50 and her sister 52. He was adopted as a kid. My mom's dad (grandpa) was a doctor so they made a lot of money. By the time he was 10 years old, with both of his older sisters out of the house, he was basically an only child. He got treated as a spoiled brat. He went to college, dropped out after a year and has basically been in a new job every year for as long as I can remember. He uses his parents as a source for money because of their wealth. He was married in '95 had three kids, and divorced in '04. Now some credit is due because he gave up drinking and his kids get along with him, but he still leeches off of his parents. Even worse is that he recently got remarried and nobody in our family was invited and we didn't know about it until he posted pictures of it on facebook. I'm not that religious, but I hate how he talks a good game about religion, yet he forgets to get an annulment, which is required in the catholic church.

And here we go:

Done, the nays are slightly ahead with 51%.  Not that it matters at all; the groundswell of support for this IS evident in reliable polls as opposed to an online survey.
Even if 10% supported this law and 90% were against wouldn't make it a wrong law, just alot of idiots running around. :-)
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.
