An Ohio sheriff known for taking extreme steps to crack down on undocumented immigrants and a Republican state representative are urging the state to pass an immigration law similar to the controversial one in Arizona.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones and state House Rep. Courtney Combs have sent a letter to Ohio Governor Ted Strickland asking him to pass a law that "mirrors" the one in Arizona, reports WLWT channel 5 in Cincinnati.

I think a lot of states will do it.

Let California have them all.

If all those people went running to CA at the same time the US might capsize and tip over!

Fortunately, the San Andreas Fault would give first, and California would sink and not take the rest of the country with it.

When they use this term "undocumented immigrants" I want to puke and then kick their asses.
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

I think they mean undocumented democrat voters.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

A Texas Representative is pushing for this too now.

What I find humorous is the California State Rep. introducing a bill for California to sever all business ties with AZ. I want to see them do that to Texas. Since we refine about 85% of the nation's gasoline, I want to see California cops pushing their squad cars.

The Democrats have, again, opened themselves to a legitimate charge of racism.  They assume any hispanic immigrant is "undocumented" just like they assume that all undocumented immigrants are a sure democrat vote. They also seem to think Central and South Americans are the only ones incapable of filling out the proper paper work.   They couldn't be more racist if they tried.  I wonder if the Republicans could work an angle here.

Ohio is a good step - what would cause head 'splodin goodness is if a state bordering Canada follows suit.

The old axiom, "Lead, Follow, or Get The  :censored:Out Of The Way, is proving applicable once again.  Arizona is leading, Ohio and other states will hopefully follow and the Federal Incompetents, aka, the Zero Administration can get the heck out of the way.
Wonder how Zero likes having his agenda disrupted by Jan Brewer's "insolence".   :-)

I really don't think the CA Assemblyman knows what the **** he's asking for.  I've got $20 that says he doesn't realize that Califunny gets a huge chunk of it's power from Arizona powerplants, and the resulting brownouts would come as "quite a shock" to the moonbats in the Assembly.

Ooo! Oooo!  How about New York?  Won't hold my breath.

"Califunny." I'd never heard that before, that's pretty good.

If this story is true, I was slightly surprised, you don't think of an immigrant problem there like a southern border state.  But you know, the state is packed, packed with middle eastern immigrants.    :fuelfire:

Rick Perry is against the AZ law.

If enough of the legislature is sick and tired of having Mexican natrionals run willy nilly through their state, with the body count to show for it, Perry may not be able to keep them from developing a veto proof vote for a bill like this.

What about water from the Colorado River? Is any of that run through AZ facilities?

I heard yesterday that there was a call to boycott Arizona Iced Tea, which is actually made in New York. lol

Those battles in Cuidad Juarez will be in El Paso soon, and that is when Rick Perry might get slightly interested in the issue.
