DUmmies Puzzled By Corporate Taxes
« on: April 19, 2010, 12:10:27 AM »
For at least the last thirty years or so, the democrat party, and its auxiliary, the press and broadcast media, have consistently tried to demonize American business. They do that for two main reasons. First, they see it as a way to advance the democrat strategy of class envy, and without class envy there is no democrat party. Second, it's actually a straightforward expression of the democrat party's hatred of American free enterprise and capitalism. The DUmp buys into all this, hook, line, and sinker. In the simple DUmmy minds, "the corporations" are some kind of monolithic demons that they don't understand at all. DUmmies don't understand why, but they know they hate and fear "the corporations", and want to punish them, or destroy them if possible. That's all because DUmmies are very, very stupid, as shown in this thread. Anonymous, faceless DUmmy grahamgreen demonstrates that he's waay stupid, but, surprisingly, he's not the DUmbest person on the thread:

"Corporations don't pay taxes, people do", Marcia Blackburn (R) Tenn. How to decrease our taxes, yet
increase revenue.

Marcia Blackburn stated on 'Meet the Press" today the republican talking point that "Corporations don't pay taxes, people do".

What they claim is that if you raise taxes on Corp's, they simply pass the costs on to consumers.

IF TRUE, we can eliminate the personal income tax, and only tax corporations!

I call it my "No Tax" plan.

By only taxing corporations, we free up the IRS to really go after these bastards!

We can use their own talking point against them and usurp their anti-tax base.

Yep, the OP DUmmy is really, really stupid, but get a load of DUmmy Lint Head:

1. I think it should be illegal for corporations to pass the cost of taxes
to the consumer. It should be the cost of doing business just like buying a business license.
Do not outlaw corporate taxes but make it illegal to pass it on to consumers.
Sometimes, words just fail me.

DUmmy Lint Head is so stunningly DUmb, he even shocks his fellow DUmpmonkeys.

2. That is absolutely impossible.
How would you mechanically do that? Also, the burden would get passed on to the owners of capital anyway. The corporations can't serve as sinks for taxes. Someone will bear their cost.

5. Any cost of doing business is passed to the consumer.
The business license, the electric bill, the cost of employees, everything.

12. Wow
I'm stunned.
A tip... the cost of doing business IS passed on to the customer.

That's pretty amazing. Three DUmmies on one thread who recognize how stupid ol' Lint Head is.

But wait! DUmmy Lint Head isn't riding solo on the business finance short bus:

profits = bad.  taxes = good.

you do not run any business (or corporation) to make money.  what kind of crazy thinking is that?

you run a business to employ dummys.   to pay them too much.  so they can do nothing all day and post on du, bitching about how much you suck as an employer.

i don't understand why y'all cannot understand this.  it is such simple dummy logic.

you = suck.  your pay to me for doing nothing? = you suck.    my actually earning my pay? = your fascist corporate attempt to own me, WHICH I WILL NOT ALLOW!!!

i have rights.   "look it up, its in the thing."  case: "Holbrook v. Ostrowiski" [the movie Baby Momma]

6. Especially the cost of CEO's.
 Why can't we tax them?

That whole thread, while not humongous, is such a concentrated, boiling cauldron of supidity and ignorance, I feel like my IQ is now 85 for having spent 60 seconds reading it.  Take precautions if you go over.   If I were Skinner, I would delete the thread and blame it on a technical problem.

I nominate the whole thing for Mind Numbing Supidity.

That's exactly their thinking, that companies are supposed to exist solely to employ people. Gobucks stated it as well, that corporations are evil entities they are unable to understand. The dummies, being zero sum dummies, think that the wealth contained in businesses means that they are part of the reason dummies don't have pot and Cheeto money. So their only idea is to somehow punish the businesses and take away their money, and spread it around for pot and Cheetos. They envision themselves as some sort of noble proletariat struggling for equality.

They really do want the government to force everyone else down to their level. That way they can feel better about themselves without having to lift a finger.

If 'stupid' were a power source the DUmp could power the whole world.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The FAIRTAX polan I read was bogus.

It had prebates (stupid idea), it was progressive, it gave money to those who paid nothing and it was NOT a tax reduction. Which makes the whole thing void to me.

A straight flat tax or a national retail sales tax, not a VAT, would be better.

Problem is, part of that proposal has "lower income" filers getting whatever they paid into VAT back, along with their EIC.  Bottom line, you still have a subservient class who'll do whatever "da gubmint" tells them to do and voting for those who give them the sugar teat.

FGL, the FairTax was never intended to be a tax reduction.  It has always maintained that it is simply a better way to collect taxes.  The prebates are there to keep those who are not paying into the system at the same level.  It is just more transparent.  Once you get the FairTax in place then everyone will see where the taxes are going and who is actually paying them.

It will also be impossible for the politicians to raise them without warning or HIDING the damn things in something else.  If they want to increase the % then they will have to put it to a vote.
