New UCC commercial made me snortsnicker

Note how they show a heterosexual couple kissing, but quickly cut away before the "just married" lesbian couple kiss.  I guess there are some things even the UCC doesn't want to show.

I saw some comments:

Quote
What if God is big enough to love all and exclude none? God is!

It's a wonderful new inspirational video message from the United Church of Christ. God is still speaking,

Quote
What if God speaks through a painting, or a theorem, or a protest, or a poem? God does!

Quote
And God speaks, and speaks, and speaks,,,,,,,

How blessed we all are,,,,,,,,,,

And I could not help myself:

Thank god that he is so big that he loves and doesn't exclude Catholic pedophile priests!

What if god speaks through pornography, or KKK literature, or laws against gay marriage? god does!

(Note: the above is for satirical purposes only. Please do not take this -- or the "god is still speaking" nonsense -- too seriously, m'kay? Hey, maybe god is still speaking through my satire!)

If we're all going to heaven no matter what bad things we do... then why do they have a chuhrch?

To make you feel good about rejecting God's clear condemnations of sin.  There's going to be a lot of UCC people standing before God on Judgment Day crying out, "Lord, Lord!", but he's going to turn to them and say, "Depart from me.  I never knew you."
