Larry King files for divorce, again

CNN mainstay Larry King is now tied with Elizabeth Taylor.

King has filed for divorce for the eighth time, according to a new report.

The divorce papers were filed in LA County Superior Court, according to TMZ.com. King blames “irreconcilable differences” for the split.

King, 76, married Shawn Southwick, 50, in 1997, and they have two sons. He wants joint custody, TMZ reported.

King married, and divorced, the same one twice in his long string of adventures in matrimony.

He's 76?  He looks 90.

Some states won't let you marry that many times.  I overhead a conversation at the county clerk's office where some guy was filing for his fourth marriage certificate with his new wife.

In my state you can't file more than 5 times

Larry King and his wife, Shawn Southwick, were swingers, that's the claim of the talk show host's former wife Julia Alexander King.

"Larry told me they both knew that each of them had others in their lives," Julia, his Spouse No. 6 from 1989 to '92, told Radar Online.

"I never asked him and he never told me who his 'other' was, but he knew Shawn was having an affair with the baseball coach. She practically flaunted it," she added.

According to her, Larry was allegedly cheating with Shawn's younger sister, Shannon Engemann, and Shawn was trysting with their sons' baseball coach, Hector Penate, reports The New York Post.

"Larry doesn't have a mean bone in his body," said Julia, who keeps in touch with her ex. "He is a wonderful man in every area of his life except marriage. He just doesn't have a moral compass when it comes to women."
