DUmmies Discuss Their Fellow Lunatics, The Libertarians

Why, as a progressive Democrat, I'm thankful for Libertarians
They take votes away from Republicans while at the same time fighting for some of the same socially progressive causes that we Democrats and progressives fight for. If the Libertarian Party became strong enough and won over enough Republicans, perhaps it would eventually lead to a one-on-one matchup between Democrats and Libertarians, which would force Democrats to be more socially liberal.

DUmmy PTTL is right about Libertarian lunatics being the socialists most powerful weapon against the Right. It's one of the few times a DUmmy has ever been right, but of course Libertarians are way too stupid to see it. That's ironic, since Libertarians always think they're the smartest person in the room. Or maybe they really do want the socialists to stay in power.

DUmmy paulsby sounds like a paultard DUmmy:

1. i can agree with this
and i can generally stomach libertarian minded repubs (or dems) far more than statist dems or repubs

get the govt. the **** out of our bloodstreams, bedrooms, etc.
stop using the commerce clause as an excuse to turn the federal govt. into some behemoth

DUmmy bobbolink, unless she is a mole, is a dirty, smelly wino, but she does recognize the main attraction of Libertarianism to the halfwits who subscribe to it - legal dope:

2. So, you want to do away with Medicare, food stamps, subsized housing, etc?
THOSE "progressive" causes?

Or do you only care about weed?

6. When did I say I was a Libertarian or agreed with them on the issues you mentioned?
If you read my post, you'll see that I'm simply showing how their existence helps us strategically. I do respect them for their activism on socially liberal causes, but I don't agree with them on the issues you mentioned.

One of the rare times you'll see the normally bright and upbeat DUmmy bobbolink complain:

7. I'd be happy to trade places with you. YOU be poor and homeless for a while,
and see how it feels to be IGNORED.

Tell me when you see how poverty is a BIG ISSUE with Dems, and becomes a "social issue". It doesn't happen. So, when you say you agree with them on social issues, guess how it comes across?

Is there enough compassion in you to walk in the shoes of another person for a bit?

If Bobo earned a penny for every time she complained, she'd be a rich woman by now. She really likes to beat people up with her circumstances.

I don't trust Independants and Libertarians. They're fence sitters. The problem with fence sitters is that the slightest push can make them go either way. The problem with them is that they have no convictions. I can't abide someone who won't take a side and stand up for his convictions. That may sound simplistic, but I fight against the idea that things are shades of gray in terms of morality.

No. It's black or white,

That's kinda low.  I'm an independent and the only fence I sit on is where I have to decide if the republicans are worth my vote.  Unlike the worthless democrats who I will never vote for.

How about the people, one week before the 08 election, who were still in the column of "Haven't Decided Yet."  If they're just being secretive, why?  And why answer the phone then?

Offtopic, but bobbo has to be a mole. There's a hint of brilliance in her constant attacks on the other dummies, and we all know brilliance isn't possible with them.

I agree - she has to be a mole.  Funny thing is, she has her fans who take up for her brutish behavior, no matter what she says. That cracks me up.

We have Libertarians because Republicans have tried to be Democrat-lite. Our Founding Fathers would be Libertarians by today's standards. Other than legalization of hard drugs and weak defense policies, I'm a Libertarian. I've always voted Republican, but the Party has become only slightly less repugnant than the Dims due to the RINOs.
Never demand that which you are incapable of taking by force, DUmmie.

Were that the case, the percentage of Libertarian voters would have skyrocketed over the past decade.  The fact that they're stuck in asterisk territory speaks more to the LP than anything else.

As repugnant as the RINO's are...trying to say they are just the same as Dems these days is a silly arguement.

Case in point...name one RINO that...if they were Prez would hire in his/her Justice Dept lawyers who'd worked for known and captured al-Qaeda terrorists.

I can't even see McLame forcing auto makers and banks to accept being taken over by the Feds.

And a "Pay Czar"?  Please. :whatever:

Liberaltarians will forever remain in the micro-also ran of politics as long as they have lunatics like ROn Paul and his ilk representing the party.  Which I might add he does only ha;f-assed cause he continues to pretend to be a Republican to get elected.

Even HE doesn't put his courage into his convictions.
Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

That's sort of like claiming to be a Christian except for the part about salvation. If you take away the parts about legalizing dope and wrecking the military, what's left of Libertarianism? Dope and a weak defense are the cornerstone of Libertarianism, and how the party attracted all its little ronulans. Otherwise, you just have a handful of ronbots playing paintball.
