Frickin' insane. They wouldn't get through the first day of it without a peeping complaint, the first month without something bad showing up on the internet from a cell phone pic, or the first semester without a sexual assault claim of some kind.
I have to blame all this on the century's of paper mills and hide tanning factory's pouring billions of gallons of lead into the rivers and streams. After generations of people drinking that water that most likely has a high mercury content also, this is what it has come to.
There was , to me a hilarious, not intentional by the movie producers I am sure, horror film out around 1979 about some woman that found a mutated baby in the Maine woods. It was the result of poisoning of some kind of the river due to a lumber company's operations.
FRANK, do not read any further stop right here.------
This woman had just lost due to miscarriage a child and her maternal instincts took over. The mutated human baby was gross, had teeth like a shark and the fingers and toes were claws.
There I sat in the theater with my kids kind of giggling at the terrable plot and acting when the actress noted the baby monster was hungry and decided to try to breast feed it.
Sorry for my kids, but I caught a case of hysterical laughter that I could not stop. The kids tried to get me to shut up but the more they shushed me the harder I laughed.
To this day the kids recall that as one of the worse experiences they ever had at a movie theater.
