Complete and utter bullshit. These fad diet are created for idjits just like the Enormous One (my brother is very overweight and believes this tripe because it allows him to shovel away). He is doomed to failure.
Just eat less.
It is actually quite simple:
Using your Body Mass Index value per your current weight and age, you can derive your daily protein, carbohydrate, and fat requirements.
Cut the fat by 25%, cut the carbs by 25%, INCREASE the LEAN protein by 25%-50%, spread these amounts across six feedings per day. Be sure LEAN protein consists of the MAJORITY of the calories for each feeding.
This alone does two important things:
1 - keeps the furnace (metabolism) running as high as possible within your body's current limitations. This keeps the fire burning which makes sure the food consumed does not turn to lard on your ass.
2 - If the protein/carb/fat ratios are correct, you can actually consume LESS total calories per day than which is required to maintain your current weight and NEVER feel hungry!
Imagine, eating correctly, never feeling hungry or deprived, and having satisfying energy levels all while slowly dropping tonnage.
Next add in just some simple exercise 4-5 times a week. Say a 1/2 hour of simple walking three days a week then simple weight lifting two times a week and that extra will guarantee an extra pound or two drop per week.
Slow and steady is the only way to go!
With the gigantic one's serious curb weight, just walking two simple blocks at a slow pace four times a week would easily satisfy his exercise requirements until he dropped below 350 or so.
Three simple aspects to losing weight then maintaining it forever:
1 - The quality of the food your eat
2 - The quantity of the food you eat including ratios
3 - CONSISTENCY!!! Meaning, DO THIS ALWAYS and do not quit for a week or so then start again.
