Kennedy has the distinction of being the ONLY president of the twentieth century, and maybe in all of American history, to have clearly won the presidency in a stolen election. If Mayor Daley had not produced tens of thousands of votes from Cook County cemeteries in 1960, Richard Nixon would have easily won Illinois, and that state decided the election. If Nixon had taken office in 1961, there would have been no LBJ in '64, and no "Great Society" welfare state to destroy minority families. There would have been an entirely different approach to Viet Nam, though what that might have been no one will ever know. Without LBJ's calculated political strategy of attacking the South, the democrat party may not have become the patchwork collection of minorities, perverts, criminals, and traitors it is today. So in 2010 we're still living with the result of the 1960 democrat thievery. One should also remember how Nixon showed vastly more class in defeat than the democrat candidate in 2000, another close, but this time honest, election.
