Republican Rep. Eric Cantor's Richmond campaign office was shot at Wednesday night, Fox News has learned, the latest in a rash of apparent threats and acts of intimidation against members of Congress.

Most of the threats so far have been reported by Democrats, but Cantor -- the No. 2 Republican in the House -- is one of about 10 lawmakers who has asked for increased security protection, Fox News has learned. As a member of the House leadership, U.S. Capitol Police already provide Cantor with a security detail around the clock, but he has asked for more security.

As House Republican whip, Cantor is the highest elected Jewish politician in the country.

Now, Cantor and Jean Schmidt, who are both Republicans are targets too. There was gunfire directed at Cantor's office, while Schmidt received death threats. I know the radical left is involved in both Democrats and Republicans.

Five years ago I heard an FBI agent say that this country if not careful is moving toward another civil war.  This guy was pretty savvy and was mainly pointing it out due to his predictions about the economy.  But sometimes what someone says really sticks out in you mind much later when you see events unfold.  This whole country is losing its mind.  Its like a pressurized tank reaching its maximum capacity yet more pressure keeps getting applied. 

Yet still Obama pushes forward.  Things are going to get scary for us normal people LOL!

I didnt realize supposed liberals were harassing republicans. I guess the caller to Jean Schmidt epitomizes whats going on. One group feels like they are having something taken away and the other group feels they are getting something they are entitled to or deserve. It comes down to political ideals. Do you feel that those 30 million uninsured should be insured at ANY expense? Some obviously feel they should be. If you were discriminated against for decades and it felt like someone was going to throw you a bone, and you were starving, would you fight for that bone?

In a college sociology class I took years ago I remember talking about power struggles. And when someone gains power, some other group or person must lose it. So that's what we have here to some extent--it may not even really have much to do with healthcare--who knows how it will all shake out and effect our collective health or the economy? No one knows...it's just speculation. So we struggle for power and control similar to the 60's. But now instead of being black and white, I think its more liberal vs. conservative.....

Tha will be the ones that shut their doors because they don't have enough Dr's who no longer continue thier practices because they can't afford to with government intervention into their PRIVATE practice.
