Way too early on a Thursday Morning.

Looks like rain today, but the temperatures look better. I'm thinking I'll be taking a nap later this morning.

What are you doing up in the middle of the night?
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

What are you doing up in the middle of the night?

Not sleeping, of course. After lying in bed for over 3 hours, I decided to get up and work on my old computer.

Green grows the foliage atop the William Rivers Pitt here.

No snow, no rain, for more than a week now, and the lowest temperatures have been just barely below freezing, and the highs in the 50s and 60s.

It's about time.

It's baaaaack....the gloominess and liquid precipitation.....it's everywhere!  :badmood:

The company that I do the drivebys for, decided they needed to up their internet security almost 2 weeks ago. I had 3 reports due over the weekend they did the upgrading. Since then, I have received 6 more reports.

It took 2 days to get a working password.

I have entered one specific report 8 times only to have it disappear.

I was able to get 2 finally submitted on Tuesday of this week.

I still have 5 that are in various stages of completion, as the rest of the report has disappeared when the "save" button was used.

Just got off the phone with them, "please keep trying to get the data entered"......I just love talking to India.....

I need drugs..... :thatsright:

It is cloudy today, high 66.  I am tired today for some reason, probably because it is cloudy.

Here.  Mid 50's, sunny & windy.  Golf course opened today.  Unfortunately I can't enjoy it.  Too many Medicare reports to complete.

Are the reports something that can be backed up before sending them off?

Yes and no.

They are on several screens, usually 3-5. Printed out they are 7-10 pages. The problem is, you can't get to the two final screens without the previous pages being completed. Second to the last one is the summary screen which I have to be able to see....

I've tried doing copy/paste. It worked on one, but not another. There's really no point, though because, I still can't get to the next screen.

"Save" is sometimes working....and sometimes not.

All 5 reports have some parts completed that haven't disappeared into cyberspace. Two have held part or all of the subject/market details, but then won't retain the comp information - which of course takes the longest to enter. One won't hold anything but my pictures, and one zapped on my first save so I haven't gone back to it.

They have 5 servers, and each one has problems. There is no way to tell which one is being worked on when I go through signing in with my code and password. I just get randomly dumped into one. And I don't know it won't retain the info and I hit save.

The company has orders for thousands of these reports a month.....I have 3 right now that will be 2 weeks late tomorrow.... :(

Just found out my 8-hour shift just potentially became a 16-hour shift.  FML.

The could have warned me about it, at least.
