He will now be going to Costa Rica for medical care (even though their health care is government provided).

Exactly 40 years ago next week, I bought a bulldozer from some farmers that sold out their large farming operation and moved to Coasta Rica. At the time I thought that was dumb. I guess they were the smartest people I've ever met..... :-)

The most ill-informed people on the internet. Rush said he would be going to Costa Rica for medical care. I imagine many thousands of wealthy people will. As background, this is from a a call from a medical provider that said they were already setting up private hospital there.

What he actually said was:

Ditto.  Rush NEVER said he was moving to Costa Rica.  He said he would go there to get his health care....

Yes, his point was that the "plan" that is now supposedly the "law" would utterly destroy the medical system we how have. And the closest most competent MD's might well be in Costa Rico.

My thinking is that it  might ne a very good idea to become GOOD FRIENDS with a Vetenerian of good repute! After all, his USUAL patients cannot tell them what's wrong, so they GOTTA be good! :tongue:
