After watching the baggers, it's so clear that their abortion cr@p is just racism.
   
It's just one more coded expression of white supremacy, just like calling Obama a "socialist" and saying "he's not like us", just like targeting ACORN because they help black people vote, it all winds up being about white power for these creeps.

I know there are people who do feel abortion is a moral issue. But that small group of people who feel something is immoral are also aware that other people have to follow their own inner lights. They don't buy billboards about baby killing because they know no billboard would change their own mind.

The people who stalk doctors and wave gross signs and buy billboards are just finding a socially sanctioned way to express their bigotry. They're the same people that take beer coolers and lawn chairs and guns to stalk Mexican immigrants. They're racists.

And watching the Republican side of this boil down to Stupig and abortion language, supported by screaming teabaggers waving racist images of the president just brings the whole farce right into broad daylight. Frank Schaeffer told me that there is no issue that generates the same heat on the right as abortion. And this is why -- because it's not about abortion.

   Basically right-wingers have always hated: non-whites, gays, liberals/intellectuals, Jews or any non-Christians (and any Christians not of their particular faith), people with a college education, women, anyone who comes from a foreign country. There are probably other groups they hate but those are the ones I know about that they hate so much they would commit violence in order to harm.

   more than any other of their bigotries. I'm in no way claiming they are not sexist @ssholes, too. But sexism doesn't make them get on a bus and drive for hours to go spit on black members of Congress.

If you take the example of calling Obama a socialist, it isn't only the ignorance it seems to be. It's code.

This statement (read talking point) is really pissing me off.  I just had a debate on facebook with a highschool friend of mine about this very thing.  What part of "They were STEALING votes" do these jack offs not understand?!

My buddy was saying the same thing.  ACORN was attacked because of racism.  When I posted several links to CONVICTIONS against ACORN for frickin' VOTE FRAUD he backed off a little but still thought they should be allowed to operate!      

I asked what he would think if someone/thing on the right had done that and he said ..... get ready for this .... They DID!  Bush and Cheney stole the votes in 2000 and 2004.  I asked for proof.     He said "I don't have any ... they simply got away with it"
