My Husband lost his job yesterday

This has got to be the worst news ever for us. He took a pay cut 6 months ago. Then 2 months later took another pay cut. Then yesterday he was told that because he didn't have a Driver's License (long story), he wasn't needed anymore. He has been working for this company for 13 years and now they say he isn't needed. He knew the "in's and out's" of that company and they just sh*t on him.

Oh yeah and the owner is the biggest Republican Douchebag I have ever seen. He told the entire company that everyone was getting a pay cut including him. Well it turns out, he didn't take a pay cut at all. He was told by his accountant (a friend of ours) that he should take his kids out of private school. His wife threw a fit and said she would never put her kids in public school (they live on Palm Beach where the BEST schools in the county are). Oh yeah and they were told that they never should have purchased a home on Palm Beach, but of course they did. They are the fakest of the fake. And now their names are dirt around Palm Beach. And we couldn't be happier. I feel bad for their kids, but this husband and wife are 2 of the dirtiest owners I have ever seen.

When the former owner died in April of last year, the company went downhill. The other owner was a kind guy who took care of his employees - no matter what. He was also a real businessman who knew the Marble and Granite business in and out.

I know when one door closes another opens. Please God, let there be something good for us on the other side.

Thanks for listening . . . Oh yeah and the same day he lost his job, I lost my star. When it rains it pours!!

Hmmmm....

Well, if you're installing granite or marble tile/countertops, and you can't drive due to DUI or other infractions, it pretty much means you're useless as an employee, not to mention the "reliability" factor, or other insurance issues if using company property.

So the guy puts his kids in private school and lives in a nice neighborhood, and that somehow makes him automatically a Republican?  Really?  Last time I checked, millionaires were registered Democrats by something like 3-1.  Who knew?

Nor do I believe that the accountant would discuss another client's business with her......if he/she wants to keep their license......

What you get if you donate to DU.  It expires after a year.  Doesn't matter the amount, I think you can get a star for as little as five bucks.  It enables you to block the ads and gives you access to the advanced search function.

Well, lots of business owners register as democrat. In many areas that's a prerequisite for a lot of profitable business from local government. They're still Republican douchebags. I especially liked the DUmmy wife announcing that the business owner's name is dirt around Palm Beach. This DUmmette sounds like someone who has her finger on the pulse of Palm Beach. Times are tough for granite countertop installers with multiple DUIs, as they have always been. But this story could all be a fabrication for the sole purpose of scamming some other DUmmy to donate a star.

Do they all expire on the same day?  That other DUmmy lost his today too.

Et tu, Adbot?

They normally expire a year after you get one, whether purchased or by begging the gullible DUmmies.

With this obamacare junk on the line, I would expect to see quite a few threads on the island having to do with "I (my firend) lost the job and it's put the healthcare in danger and I/they just got diagnosed with cancer."  Like clockwork.

And yet everyone I've met from there has been a Republican. Either way, this bouncy falls flat. 0.5 for effort, but no more.

I think they're a bit edgy about that after the events of 2005.

NO! That's what Valentine's Day is for. To tell a sob story and get another DUmmy to donate for you in your name.

So the guy who owns the company and takes the risks didn't take a pay cut but this harpy thinks she has the right to bitch about it? The accountant is telling him to take his kids out of private school? Do accountants do that? And I really think this guy needs to know what a freaking big mouth his accountant has. Perhaps the pay cuts were due to the inability to perform the job he was hired to do and after a while he just became dead weight. It's an employer's market right now...why not hire someone who can do the job AND drive himself there too?

None of those conservations took place. Remember DUmmy's lie. All the time. They lie.
