ACORN gives up Ohio business license, won't return
« on: March 11, 2010, 04:18:51 PM »
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The community organizing group ACORN has agreed to give up its Ohio business license and not return under another name, as it has in other states, under a settlement struck with a libertarian center that sued it.

Only 49 states to go.

And if you think the same bad apples won't turn up in a few weeks under a new "Community Organizing" moniker - completely unrelated to ACORN, of course - I have some waterfront property in Arizona to sell ya.

Considering the BS they pulled here in Ohio, I am damn glad to see their asses gone.

Naw...  I'm not that niave.  I'm sure their cousin will be along shortly.

But in this case their agreement is to not come back under another name.  How the AG office is going to keep tabs on that I have no idea.

It's not like the Secretary of State there will disallow any votes they submitted.

This whole organization is corrupt from the top down.  And by Top down I mean the Obama Administration.  And yes, I agree that they will show up again, in a completely different name and organization.  Ohio is too valuable to the Dems to not have an ace up their sleeve!

You're right considering the DOJ has quashed any federal investigation of wrongdoing by ACORN.

Interestingly, an organization called BACON (But ACORN Continues On Neverendingly) will be taking over ACORN's office leases.
