Saddest Dental Office Story so far...

Edited on Wed Mar-03-10 04:53 PM by PCIntern
We'll do this 'clinically':

A 51 year-old female presented today, with a history of attending this practice of 27 years. Her chief complaint was that her job was eliminated nineteen months ago. Unable to find work, she had to move to rural Pennsylvania with her racist, mentally-unfit mother. The domicile consists of a 12x15 room shared by the patient, her mother, and seven fully grown dogs. Cell-phone photographs reveal a level of filth and depression hitherto not seen by this practitioner in the context of his patients.

After the patient's crying subsided, she begged the practitioner for a job, money, food, and quite literally anything to help her get out of this environment which, she states, may kill her shortly, one way or the other.

Having directed her to various social service organizations to which he has connections, the practitioner went to sit in his office and stared at the wall for a while. He completed his day, and then wrote this post.

Diagnosis: Bush Recession in extremis

Prognosis: Guarded to Poor

On edit: The patient did not incur a bill for services, of course.

They'll come up with anything to blame Bush about. :mental:

She lives in a 12x15 foot room but has a cell phone with a camera?? Does anyone know how to find a 12x15 room for rent?

I don't have a cell phone.

I'm gonna sub-divide and sub-let my living room so I can afford a cell phone.... thank you Mr. Bush.

In the Obamaconomy we're all going to be living in 12x15 rooms and sharing a bathroom with 8 other families.

OK, what I want to know is do the DUmbasses actually think that anyone believes their bouncing piles of bullshit?

Seriously, my 2 year old nephew can create more convincing lies.

You have GOT to be freakin' kidding me. A woman comes in with that tale of woe and he doesn't buy her a bite of lunch? Slip her a few bucks? Offer to make some calls to other practices to see if they need some help around the office? It doesn't even say she got any dental treatment.

But he's a hero for giving her the @#!!*&% number to the welfare office?

Geez Louise these people couldn't be any more hypocritical or shallow if they tried.

One evening a while back I went to the Winn Dixie across from my hospital and sitting out front was one of my old psych patients I hadn't seen in years. Sweet guy, wouldn't harm a fly, but has problems. I knew he was from Georgia (this is Florida) so I asked him what he was doing there. For some reason he had come down too early for his appointment (it was the next day), and when I questioned him his plan was to spend the night out there in front of the store and see his doctor the next day.

Without a thought I reached in my pocket and pulled out a twenty and handed it to him so he could stay in the boarding house for vets and their families by the hospital. No expectation of it being paid back. I didn't even stop to consider he might spend it on something else. It just seemed the right thing to do at the time.

And the best these assholes can do is point someone towards the gubmint, then come back to DU and write bad prose about it while basking in the adoration of other DUmmies over what a great humanitarian they are?

This is clearly a bouncy, with the dental office cleaning lady coming up with a tale based very closely on the trials and tribulations of Doug's ex-wive, poor stupid Beth Ferrari, who was forced to move into that tiny camping trailer out in the desert with her mother, two big dogs, and now her crazy brother who is also a loser.

Racist is included here because????????? She's more than likely conservative. Folks that have lived long enough to go thru the Depression, usually are.

DUmmy PCIntern has always claimed to be a dentist or doctor or some one type of professional or another, depending on the story he wants to tell at any given time. He appears more likely to be a cleaning person, or at most a receptionist, who has access to the office waste basket, and bases a lot of stories on the trash he finds. I think we're all pretty safe from having DUmmy PCIntern "practice" on us. Even government Obamadocs would likely be preferable.

I wonder why BNCYIntern didn't offer up some of those harvested gold fillings to the poor woman. That might have paid for the cell phone bill.
