The last nice Monday
« on: February 22, 2010, 07:18:10 AM »
Last nice day we'll have for a while.  High of 45, but snow comes back starting tomorrow.

For a WEEK.

Still making the juice, busy as hell.  That is all.

Last week, the weather was pretty decent, overall. Upper 50s and lower 60s for temps.

Today, I have an appointment with the spine surgeon. He's going to read the CT scan notes and schedule surgery, I'm pretty sure.

Friday, part deux.  Or First Monday, whichever you prefer.  Off tomorrow... I think the weather will cooperate.  I need to take my car in for an emissions inspection.

Good luck.  That doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.

Gloomy Monday.  45 and gray.  Tomorrow there is snow in our forecast, but if everything goes as the models predict, it will be south of me, and I am cool with that.

Wasn't at home last night and I had a drive by at my house.  My buddy drove by and dropped off her grill, because she got a better one from her Dad.  Sweet!

Thor~  good luck with your appt.

Mid 30's today and tomorrow with some flurries. Most of the snow is gone thanks to the day long constant drizzle yesterday.

46 and gloomy foggy....they rain has already moved on. Not sure when it rained, but it had already stopped by 7.

Have already done a report, talked with a client, did some typing stuff for M and have another report to do by noon!!!

Amazing what I can do with several hours of sleep and not waking up with a headache!  :-)

I didn't know we had car inspections any where in the state.

Be really bad news for a lot of people around here if we did!

Chris and I are both in TN....he obviously does....we don't. He's in the middle of the state...I'm in the eastern part.

That sounds weird.  I always thought such things were statewide?

We don't have vehicle inspections like they do in North Carolina where they check lights, wipers, horns, and a bunch of other things.  They only do emissions here, and its only in the larger counties like Davidson, Sumner, and Williamson.  I know Maury county and many others do not require an annual inspection.

Wait, what?  Illinois doesn't have vehicle inspections, at least not for cars.

Hmmm, the counties around Chicago & St. Louis require them still:

I always just thought it was statewide.

NH requires an annual inspection, but no smog check--YET.  The Massholes haven't polluted our fair state that badly, but give it time...

Yeah, looks like a racket to me.  Greedy Democrat-run cities always looking for ways to take more money from other people.

 :-)

I got a notification in Cook County a couple of years ago.  I want to say it was required every 4 years, I can't remember exactly.  It didn't cost anything, though, except through our tax money, I suppose.

As noted above, we didn't have to pay anything upon inspection.  I'm sure our tax money HANDSOMELY paid for the dozens of workers at the inspection stations.

Those are more heavily populated and DimRat controlled areas.
