Are you a constructive member of society?

Do you break the law?

Do you give more than you take?

Do people depend on you?

If you think you are, then by what metric do you judge yourself to be constructive?

link

Just one answer so far..

2. I don't think that making people depend on you makes you constructive.

Is someone constructive who gets up every day and works for a company that pollutes, hoardes resources from the masses, etc>?0

3. In order. No. Sometimes. Yes. Yes. I don't need to judge anyone or anything, I am surviving.

4. Is society a constructive entity?
apres moi, le deluge

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

It seems like under most circumstances, that's a pretty simple question.. but not at DU.

You have to remember that the democrat mind is nuanced.
It all depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

Not at present. But I'm not a drain either.

I was just wondering if corporations didn't "hoard resources" from the masses... would the masses then have those resources? Would the masses know what to do with their newfound resources if they did? No?

Without Corps, there would likely be a lot less in the way of "resources"! DUmbasses!

All my resources are buried in the ground, some in Montana, some in Colorado, some in Idaho. I guess I'd better put on my shoes and belt and go get them. lol

I have read hundreds of threads over there DEMANDING that they be given something and this is the first I have ever seen that even remotely asks what they do or intend to return to that society that does.

Not a bit surprised that there are so far almost no answers that say what they do to usefully contribute.
In fact they are miffed that someone would ask.

Who would have guessed?  ::)

Pair this OP with the one about the guy going to door and asking for money and I think we can see something about how they really feel about the masses and resources.

Plus one a week ago or so I brought over about how "artists" should be taken care of.
It isn`t hard to figure out where they wish to land in society.

I'm curious as to why the DUmmie OP used the word "constructive" instead of Productive?  Never mind, that would have meant more "NO" answers.

12. No, in this messed-up version of society, I don't think I am (am a SAHM, basically "useless")

I'm assuming SAHM = stay at home mom.  How sad that this mother thinks so little of what she does, sounds like she may bought into the "feminism" of the 70's.

So he could include the "artists" that Carl was talking about

I agree with you Terry...
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....
