Seeing democrats backing out of races.  Seeing them quit. Seeing them loose their seats. Being defeted by conservitives.  Seeing  obama looseing his support. Seeing the Tea Party growing by leeps and bounds. Watching Sarah Palin give speeches. This is America comeing back.

Not to mention the facts.  Hate to bust your bubble, but just as many GOP Senators and Congresscritters are retiring as well this year:

Actually, check that--so far, MORE GOP Senators are retiring (6) than Democrat (5), and more GOP Congressmen (18) than Democrat Congressmen (15) so far.

GOP Senators:
Gregg
Voinovich
Bunning
Lemieux
Brownback
Bond

Dem Senators:
Dodd
Burris
Kaufman
Bayh
Dorgan

Dem Congressmen:
Davis--Running for AL governor
Berry
Snyder
Watson
Meek--Running for Senate (FL)
Ellsworth--Running for Senate (IN)
Abercrombie--Running for HI governor
Moore
Melancon--Running for Senate (LA)
Hodes--Running for Senate (NH)
Sestak--Running for Senate (PA)
Kennedy
Gordon
Tanner
Baird

Delahunt will probably be added to that list, but no decision as yet made and won't be until March.

GOP Congressmen retiring:
Boozman--Running for Senate (AR)
Shadegg
Radanovich
Castle--Running for Senate (DE)
Putnam--Running for state position (FL)
Diaz-Balart
Deal--Running for GA governor
Buyer
Kirk--Running for Senate (IL)
Moran--Running for Senate (KS)
Tihart--Running for Senate (KS)
Hoekstra--Running for MI governor
Ehlers
Blunt--Running for Senate (MO)
Fallin--Running for OK governor
Brown
Barrett--Running for SC governor
Wamp--Running for TN governor

Google is your friend, noob.

How many of those retirees on both sides are in "safe states" versus "toss-up" states.  Most breakdowns I've seen favor an overall pickup by the GOP.

Wamp is running for GOP nominee for governor of TN ....but so is Bill Haslam. Haslam's currently mayor of Knoxville and is son of the founder of Pilot Oil and brother to the current CEO of Pilot Oil.

I doubt that Wamp can win over Haslam.

Maybe he will stay in Congress if he doesn't get the GOP nomination.
